PHOTO STUDIO FOR HIRE IN SHOREDITCH
CHOCOLATE STUDIO is an amazing studio-loft in central London, located just 5 min walk from Old Street Underground Station, in the heart of Shoreditch.
£280 full day
£180 half-day (9AM-1PM or 2PM-6PM)
£60 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
The studio is a spacious and incredibly bright open space loft (26x29ft plus kitchen) with many large industrial windows (10x7ft) facing south and west, which will provide you with all the natural light you might need for your photoshoots, videos or classes.
Photographers and film-makers can either use the studio facilities or use the loft as a location, or also shoot on the communal outdoor staircase and rooftop with an amazing open view over the Barbican towers and London roofs, which gives Chocolate Studio a unique New York feel to it.
The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet all day long.
Our standard opening times are 9AM-6PM everyday, including weekends, with possibility of overtime.
Overtime (7AM-9AM and 6PM-10PM) is priced at £80/hour. Overnight work is not permitted.
The rental of the studio for photoshoots includes:
zoom reflectors with grids
Profoto silver beauty dish with grid
One set of digital medium-format Hasselblad H4D-31 with Hasselblad prime lenses (35/3.5, 50/3.5, 120macro/4) and accessories is also available in-house for hire at £300/day.
We stock several 9ft paper backdrops: ask in advance what colours are available. Backdrops are charged at £10/metre.
We can source, quote and deliver for you any other photo, video or computer equipment you need that is not listed here (both for stills and video).
Our studio suits perfectly many different private professional uses, such as:
video, film and TV productions
actor's coaching/theatre rehearsals
business meetings/away workdays

- No painting classes
- No parties
- No animals
- No smoking
An additional double-bedroom is available upon request for professional daytime use or occasional overnight stays in case of multi-day booking. Tell us your needs and we will give you a quote.
A studio manager will be present on site at all times during your workday to give you induction and help you getting through with the use of the studio loft and with hospitality.
