The fact that the new Matilda Musical makes it super obvious that Matilda is a stand user with a love of books.
Led Zeppelin has a song named Moby dick. Matilda loves books and Moby dick is a classic. Her stand let's her read people's stories and make her own. The Americanized stand name would obviously be White Whale. Because she is searching for her own white whale. In doing so she can manifest and manipulate the space around her into a story.
Trunchbull is the obvious enemy stand user. She calls it the chokey which is another word for prison. Clearly Trunchbulls official japanese stands name is Prison Song (system of a down) but it has to be Americanized for legal reasons. Chokey is a pretty strong stand. It literally locks away whoever is put inside at a length determined by the user. It's only flaw is that it can't kill. But in the new musical you literally see her summon nearly 30 Chokeys.
