She's back
A choni fanfiction
Written by coco
Toni topaz and Cheryl blossom had an amazing summer, dates with fellow couples, motorcycle rides around the town, watching sunsets from Thornhill and an amazing week away. Toni had worked herself to the bone to be able to pay for just half of the trip, Cheryl had offered to pay but the serpent had been too proud. Sweet pea, one of Toni's best friends, had been against the future queen of the south side serpents and the Northside princess dating, he would constantly complain about how Cheryl should pay for these things instead of Toni since she was loaded. Toni had ignored the comments all summer "classic sweet pea, he's just worrying about me" she would constantly have to remind Fangs, another friend of hers.
Once the summer was over Toni, Cheryl, Sweet pea, Fangs and their many other friends had returned to Riverdale high. Vixen practices were starting again, football season was right around the corner and the first blue and gold newspaper was hot off the press. All that was missing was the usual mystery. Riverdale had it all, cults, serial killers, stalkers, drugs, gangs you name it they had it. Little did Toni and Cheryl know the next life changing incident would involve them once again.
Cheryl was strutting down the halls once again, her long red locks lay on her shoulder as her hazel eyes surveyed the room viciously. Her expression almost screamed power, which it should. Cheryl was one of the most rich civilians in Riverdale, her life was exquisite to the naked eye. Suddenly the girl was stopped in her tracks. Sitting in the waiting room was Heather, Cheryl's ex best friend and first love that had moved away "heather?!" The raven haired girl flung herself off her seat "Cheryl? Oh my god! I missed you so much!" The too girls embraced each other happily
For Cheryl this was one of the happiest moments of her life, for Toni on the other hand this would lead to the worst thing she would ever experience. Cheryl and Heather spent every breathing moment together, most of the
time the vixens would join too, and when the red head would return home she'd be too tired to interact with her girlfriend, usually Toni wouldn't get jealous but the past few weeks had been agony for her. She got barely any attention from her lover nor many of her friends since most of them were vixens leaving her mostly alone with her insecurities and thoughts.
One particular day started the pain for both girls.
Toni was sitting in the bed she would usually share with Cheryl but unluckily for her she was having a vixen exclusive sleepover at Heather's house. God knows what Cheryl could be doing at that very moment. "Cuddling with Heather, or maybe kissing but why should I care? I'm just the abandoned girlfriend." She thought to herself, her mind would be flooded with thoughts like these while she was alone and it would kill her.
Her train of thought was intruded by the buzzing of her phone. She picked it up to see Cheryl's name spread across the screen in bold, the sudden realization hit her. She couldn't remember the last time Cheryl had called her. Answering the phone Toni forced herself not to tear up "what is it, Cher?" A relieved sigh came through the mic causing the serpent to raise an eyebrow "thank God Tee-Tee!" Tee-Tee she couldn't remember the last time she called her that either "Heather's parents kicked us out, could you maybe come and pick me up?"
Before she knew it Toni was driving back to Thistle house on her motorbike with Cheryl's arms wrapped tightly around her waist. A small blush crept across Toni's face as her girlfriend hid her face in her rose gold tipped hair "I missed this, Cheryl.." she chuckled quietly "but you seem different. Guilty.". Cheryl's body shook "Tee-Tee.. it was just me and Heather at that sleepover.. and.. and she kissed me.."
Cheryl and Heather had kissed. It was just them. They were alone. What else might have happened? These questions raced around Toni's head. "Toni! Tee-Tee! Baby the road!" Toni flashed back into reality to see a truck speeding towards them. Toni instantly swerved to avoid it, sending both girls and the bike flying off the road and into the forest surrounding it.
