Originally from Upstate New York, Chris DuPré and his family moved to Franklin, TN in the fall of 2004. For the previous thirteen years, Chris had been in Kansas City where he worked alongside Mike Bickle as worship pastor at Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999 he helped Mike Bickle establish the International House of Prayer (IHOP).
Chris served as Director of the School of Worship at IHOP and was instrumental in mentoring and training up worship leaders, singers and instrumentalists. Chris recently served as Associate Pastor at Grace Center Church in Franklin, TN. Though known by many as the author of the beautiful song, Dance With Me, those who know him bestknow him as a "Papa."
Now based near Nashville Tennessee, Chris continues to write, sing, speak and travel with a desire to communicate in every form possible, God's desire to convince the human heart of His great affection, thereby rooting them in love and empowering them to be all they're purposed to be.
Chris is now serving as Worship Pastor at Catch The Fire Toronto, where he is developing their worship teams and leaders, and helping to usher in a new sound that can be known as Catch The Fire!
Chris and his wife Laura have three daughters, Andrea, Katie, and Melissa as well three beautiful grandchildren, Alistair, Lillian, and Colette.
