God with Them, God of Hope, God With Us
God with them, God of hope, God With Us Ever-present, before ancient times to latter day Our God we serve, gives us hope, has our trust
God-heeding Sarah left her land, her shoes in dust Elohim blessed her womb with a son who would play God With her, God of hope, God With Us
Rahab of Jericho, was a woman who dealt in lust She welcomed Israelites in her home, she was spared the city's fate Our God she served, gives us hope, has our trust
From her, Jesus cast out seven demons, as chains he cuts Risen Christ saw her first, good news Apostle Mary spread that day God With her, God of hope, God With Us
An angel told the prophet, for the plates, come Emma must Elect lady compiled the hymnal, to help us give God praise Our God she served, brings us hope, has our trust
The women of whom I've spoken had great faith and thus, Are examples we can learn from, as we take action and pray God With them, God of hope, God With Us Our God we serve, gives us hope, has our trust

“I know now that true charity consists in bearing all our neighbours’ defects - not being surprised at their weakness, but edified at their smallest virtues.”

“Who has not heard Dostoevsky’s oft-quoted remark, ‘Beauty will save us?’ Usually people forget to mention, however, that by redeeming beauty Dostoevsky means Christ. He it is whom we must learn to see. If we cease to know him only through words but are struck by the arrow of his paradoxical beauty, then we will truly come to know him and will no longer merely know about him at second-hand. Then we will have encountered the beauty of truth, of redeeming truth. Nothing can bring us into contact with the beauty of Christ himself more than the world of beauty created by faith and the light that shines upon the faces of the saints, through which his own light becomes visible.” ~ Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) was born on 16 April 1927 in Marktl am Inn, Germany. His father, a police officer, came from a traditional family of farmers from Lower Bavaria. He spent his adolescent years in Traunstein, a small town on the Austrian border. It was in this context, which Pope Benedict XVI himself has described as "Mozartian", that he received his Christian, human and cultural formation. what does side b - side y mean? i tried googling it but just got confused, thanks lol
Side B refers to Christians who are part of the LGBT community but stay faithful to the teachings of the Church about sex, sexuality and marriage.
In very simple words, side B people accept their sexuality, they acknowledge their feelings and attractions and don't try to change those because they know they can't. Many use labels, some use Same Sex Attracted (SSA) or say they have gender dysphoria, depending on their situation, but others prefer to use regular labels.
Side Y people, as I have understood, don't use labels because they don't identify as SSA or anything like that. They think their feelings and attractions are bad or sinful but don't get to the point of trying to do orientation change as Side X people.
I'm not sure if I'm side B or Y, I think I tend more to B than Y, but I'm still figuring it out. Here's an article about the terms, that might be helpful, and here's a podcast about Side B, I linked the episode I've liked more so far.
Hope that helps!
