Nightmare stared at the window, his torn ears twitching as he listened to the calming sounds of the rain, the room and the sky outside were dark. Just the way he liked it. "Fluffball?" He perked his ears when he heard Chris's calm yet concerned voice.
He didn't know why the undead Afton cared about him after what he had done, he slowly turned towards Chris. "Yeah?" He replied, his voice had been fixed by Chris, thanks to his Shadow'Freddy powers.
Nightmare noticed that Chris was standing at the doorway, leaning against it. "Are you alright?" Chris questioned, narrowing his eyes slightly. Nightmare hesitated before glancing at the rain. "I'm fine. I'm just tired." He answered honestly.
"Tired you say?" Chris hummed thoughtfully before teleporting onto the bed next to Nightmare, "Chri-" He was cut off when Chris pulled him down to lay next to him, "Then why don't you sleep? I will keep watch." Chris grinned a bit.
Nightmare blushed a bit before nodding slowly, he made himself a bit smaller and snuggled closer in Chris's grip. Causing the undead afton to smile and hold him close. "I love you fluffball." Chris murmured as Nightmare drifted off to sleep, purring quietly.
