There’s more to the Christmas season...
While I could write some tacky post about the true meaning of Christmas, I decided that you guys would probably not want to hear about that. I spent several days over the Christmas season volunteering with a local organisation collecting food for the holiday period and early 2018, for those who are currently in hardship and struggling to put food on the table in this stressful season. Sometimes it is the small things that impact a person so much. While I could sit online and complain about my Christmas, the reality is there are those that struggle to gather the bare essentials for this season. Christmas isn’t just a season for receiving but giving. Each small thing can help change someones Christmas. It might be physical helping someone out or supporting someone, it could be smiling and saying hi or even just a hug and a reminder that they are in fact truly loved by so many people around them.
