Found this one to be quite a slog, all things told. There was a lot of lore going on that took some figuring out, a lot of jargon that wasn't always immediately obvious from context. The ending came out of left field, and I still don't really get what happened there; I felt the plot had a lot of promise, the execution just didn't work for me.
so. the last comic strip posted on insta further reinforce my hc that Thorn would listen to math rock and that Ophélie's favorite band would unironically be mcr
Yes thorn was cold and off putting and seemed not to care about anyone, but I really do think he cared so deeply for the people (however few) that he did love. Like I feel like he would truly be a ride or die/loyal/till death-do-us-part-and-even-then kinda guy.

everybody ships ophelia x thorn and i love it too, but how about archibald/ophelia/thorn as a polycule? anyone?
i've been obsessing over that thought since i re-read the second book. yes i know it could not be canon for story reasons but nothing stops me from making an au. just saying.

RÉINCARNATION - SCENARIO BASE OF THE MIRROR VISITOR
Hello,
As part of the Long Project course in the Screenwriting Certificate program at UQAM, dedicated to the creation of a medium-length screenplay of approximately forty-five minutes, I spent the last six months of 2026 writing a free adaptation of The Mirror Visitor series by Christelle Dabos.
Writing this screenplay was an incredibly rewarding experience from which I learned a great deal. I am sharing it today both as a testament to my affection for this universe and as the result of several months of work. Since I do not intend to continue developing the project, I have decided to make it available to anyone who may be interested in discovering it.
This is Reincarnation, a free adaptation set after the events of The Storm of Echoes, on the arch of Sidh. Available on Watpadd and eventually on Ao3 (can only get a account june 25). ONLY IN FRENCH
