Samba Rejoins Anzhi
Christopher Samba has rejoined Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala who he left back in January. The transfer fee is thought to be around the same as QPR paid in January which is £12M.
Harry Redknapp is having to reshape his entire squad after suffering relegation to the Championship after a dismal Premier League campaign that even Harry couldn’t save them from. He has already released several players including Djibril Cisse and Chris Samba will be the first of many to be sold including Julio Cesar.
QPR have made one big signing though today, Steve McLaren who joins in a coaching role.
Many football fans were surprised in January when Samba joined the club as he was thought to be pocketing around £100,000 a week. Despite playing well overall he didn’t have much of an impact and the club were still relegated.

Cisse to Leave QPR
Djibril Cisse is to leave QPR after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract at the club after struggling to impress Harry Redknapp since his arrival at the club.
He will leave the club on the 1st July and there are already several clubs interested in him. He arrived at QPR in January 2012 after being signed by Mark Hughes and in his first few weeks at the club he was shown two red cards but had good goalscoring form.
When Harry Redknapp took over from Mark Hughes at the club, Cisse was deemed a trouble maker by the former Spurs manager and sent out on loan to Qatari side Al-Gharafa where he made 9 appearances and scored only 1 goal.
The club’s official statement read “We would like thank Djibril for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future”.
Cisse is so far one of the biggest names to go in the relegation clearout that will see Redknapp having to overhaul most of the squad. Players like Julio Cesar, Loic Remy and Christopher Samba are all on big wages and could potentially cripple the club’s finances if they remain at Loftus Road next season.

This week the task was to make a picture about Chris Samba of QPR. For me only one thing really stuck out about Samba and that was his salary at QPR so I made this.
