This issue has been going on for YEARS. I know it was here a year ago, it was here two years ago, maybe it was here three years ago, I can't remember. I got the first appointment at some point in spring of last year. The medicine made it worse. I went in again in July. It couldn't have been more than a month later that I called to ask for the results of the blood tests. I didn't get the next appointment until October. The doctor told me she'd get me an appointment for the week after. I was pacing around that little room nervously because I didn't think I was ready, I didn't want to miss work, I didn't know how preparing for the operation worked. She came in ten minutes later and said the soonest she could get me an appointment was in April. Suddenly next week didn't feel so bad.
I was at least relieved that I didn't have to deal with that medicine yet. And April wasn't too far away. It's only January and I wish every day the appointment could be sooner. I want to gain weight, I want to be healthy and not constantly have a mild cold, I want to go back to the gym, I want to have energy, I want to work and make money, but that's ten times more difficult when almost everything I eat gives me horrible intestinal pain. Every time I think a food is safe, I eat it a day later and I'm stuck in the bathroom for half an hour. I am in a state of constant abdominal pain. I can't enjoy anything without feeling like my guts are trying to explode. Food is supposed to fuel me, but I can't have fuel without some kind of pain. When I don't eat, I don't have energy and I feel nauseous and I just have a different kind of abdominal pain. But I don't even have anyone to blame, it's just an illness.
