For those of you who remember, one year and two urls ago I hosted a Duke Appreciation week! I’ve decided to host one again this year!!! Some themes are the same and some are new, so if you participated last year you get to see how your interpretation of the character has changed in the year since the last appreciation week! Any creative content can be used to participate; art, writing, cosplay. Whatever you can think of! Dates: June 25th: Favorite Quote June 26th: Favorite Relationship (romantic or not) June 27th: Sexuality Headcanon (Happy pride!!) June 28th: Misc. There’s been a reason uptick in heathers fandom activities and it’s wonderful to see but I need to make some PSAs based on asks/dms I’ve been getting as a result

I’m glad people are finding my old content and enjoying it, but I’ve been getting asks & DMs asking permission to take over my AUs, stories, adopt my hcs, etc (and that’s when people are asking at all rather than just telling me they’ve done so)

I know I don’t post as often on tumblr as I used to, especially not heathers content, but I am very much still alive. Hello 👋 I am active on tumblr everyday even if I don’t post on this blog everyday, it may not seem like it but this isn’t my main lol. I know coming into a fandom for 30+ year old movie and stumbling across content from 10 years ago must seem like it’s old and abandoned, but it’s not! Even if I don’t ever update my AUs or sideblogs or what have you, it’s still a piece of my art that I made and something, like heathers itself, that I care deeply about.

I am 100000% okay with something I made inspiring you to make something else, credit where credit is due is all I ask, but my answer to anyone wanting to “adopt” my AUs and stories is always going to be no 🙏 I hope people can understand that

I watch Heathers every month, I draw it and think about it nonstop, and I use tumblr everyday! I took a step back from using tumblr at all in my early 20s because it just wasn’t a healthy environment and I had to stop drawing much at all for health reasons, I’ve slowly picked the hobby back up again and try to post on here more but I just have other interests currently at the forefront. But my content on my still active blog isn’t a long lost relic for you to take for your own and rebrand just because 2015 seems like a million years ago.

Again I really REALLY appreciate the love I’ve been getting on old content even if it’s hard to look at my decade old art in my notifications lol. And if it inspires you to make something that’s amazing! But I am still actively here 😭 quit telling people I’m dead /j

#delete later probably #this feels kind of silly to say at all but I’ve been getting a surprising amount of messages about it #I don’t post heathers as much bc I don’t post as much + this fandom wasn’t a great experience #but I still post occasionally + touch my side blogs occasionally #I worked a lot on not feeling like I constantly have to put out content for others to feel creative #I have lots and lots of doodles and drabbles and thoughts that tumblr won’t see #me touching my side blogs every few months instead of everyday doesn’t mean they’re dead or fair game #part of the reason I had to leave tumblr for my mental health was people getting mad at me for not posting heathers content as consistently #as they would’ve liked #and saying I ‘owed’ content to people who support my account #so this is just kind of a hard boundary I want to set #again it’s really fun seeing the fandom come to life again #just not enjoying the finders keepers mindset to the old content (my old content) that’s occasionally popping up #and it’s definitely not everyone I don’t want to make anyone feel bad!!!#for all I know this is one or two people sending messages #just wanted to say bc I’d rather do it like this than respond to a bunch of messages over and over

Update

This round of orders didn’t hit order minimum for production, HOWEVER the five Milly fans in the world deserve what merch we can get so I’ll just be eating the cost the next time I can swing it (most likely next month) and will have the leftovers available to buy once they’re done being manufactured. So everyone whose preordered you WILL be getting one, thank you for your patience!!!

#likely doing a wolfwood mousepad soon as well…#but first I’m doing a second round of Milly mochi orders (those have a smaller order minimum so they’ll be produced much faster)

Wish I was drawing Trigun but unfortunately I got a new job (to pay for Trigun merch) and have to finish cosplays for con this weekend (Trigun cosplays). This is so hard.
