babe, it’s winter. the thigh highs stay ON during sex.
Currently wearing five layers on my top half, not including my coat
Not freezing is an art form
For someone who never goes hiking or camping I sure own a lot of mountain warehouse clothes
Asked person in school to use a microwave for my heat pack because my legs have been hurting for hours. She first asked if I could wait til tomorrow (um, no, I can't feel my ankles *now* that's why I'm asking), then she said no, I can't use the microwave, but that she could give me an electric heat pack which takes ages to warm up and I can only keep it for a week. If I want one permanently I have to buy one myself (and they're not that cheap).
Because apparently sticking something in a microwave (which I know the school has) for thirty whole seconds just isn't possible.
She also seemed to be under the impression that this was for my period. I did not at any point say that I needed it for my period. I am not currently on my period.
For all the essential oil companies trying to advertise stuff that'll improve my circulation on the basis of it being warming, I'm currently rubbing a chili heatwave Dorito on my fingers and so far nothing's happening. I'm willing to test other spices if you think that'd make the test fairer.
Raynaud's is often boiled down to "hands and feet are a bit cold". Here's a list of things I've experienced or done as a result of Raynaud's:
Joints aching from the cold
Shivering in cold rooms - moreso than others who merely complain that it's chilly
Lips turning blue-grey
Struggling to move extremities due to the body's natural reflex of curling up to conserve heat
Limbs (especially legs) feeling like jelly
Not being able to touch any warm part of my body because my hands are *stone cold* and my nerves react to them as though they were any other freezing cold object - immediately jumping away
Hard to describe, but a feeling of being cold through to the core (even when my core is physically warm)
Dancing on the spot because the floor is hurting my feet
Walking on the sides of my feet to reduce surface area
Shaking hands constantly in the hopes of increasing bloodflow
Suddenly warming up and feeling like everything is on fire
Not being able to hold glasses or have drinks with ice in them - drinking almost everything out of a mug
More may be added later

I don't gate keep, these microwavable toys are good. I got mine at Kroger. I kinda wish they didn't have the lavender scent in them, I do understand it's on brand tho.
Just to verify me having one
Am I still having side effects from the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine or am I just cold
