Maltruant was a cool Ben 10 villain (I think he could have had more buildup, but you know what I mean. I like Time Guys™️.)
It is highly not encouraged to hang out with Chronosapiens alone. Spending 10 minutes with them can feel like hours. Not because they're using their powers but because they're so bureaucratic and boring to talk to. It's been often debated if they've been using their time powers low-key when in conversations.
I can just imagine Ben as Clockwork could be forced to mediate between two Chronosapians (like that one episode with Gravattack. The one where it was revealed Rath was naked lol), and being bored out of his mind.

Headcanon: Chronosapiens in the reboot universe oversee all of time in the center of the universe. Their planet is essentially one giant clock their role is to prevent any time paradoxes from destroying all of existence.
I love this headcanon. I love the implication that Paradox is in jail but knowing Paradox he probably found some way to escape and fool the Chronosapians. Like, a Time Duplicate may be there in place or a really convincing hologram.
You cannon convince me Paradox hasn't planned for that eventuallity.
My personal headcanon is that the Chronosapians are like the Celestialsapians, they just... Exist. No alternates, they are time.
In fact, I like to think that the Chronosapian homeworld (which I named Chrontopia) and the Forge of Creation are right next to each other in the center of the Multi-Verse/Omniverse/whatever it's called.
