I am ashamed to say I don't remember the last time I opened my bible. But today, while looking up the verses when preparing for a future church service I'll sing in it was time.

And it was such a feeling of coming home, seeing the markings and notes I have made before. One of the verses I was looking for was already marked:

My bible is in swedish but NIV has translated the pink part as

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous hand.

And idk- it just hit me what comfort my faith is to me, and how wonderful the bible is.
