Meet Chuui!
She's eleven years old and is Leyya's youngest sister on her dad's side. She's a really sweet, precocious girl, and an actual straight up prodigy... much like Zojja, Taimi, and Qirri.
Problem is, Daxx is just a really shitty parent. As a result, she spends more and more time staying with Leyya and Zojja once they move to Rata Sum, with Zojja taking Chuui on as her third apprentice while Leyya just focuses on the best big sister she can possibly be.
Daxx barely notices she's left.
"So Zojja says I'd do really good in Synergetics, like her and Taimi, but I dunno. I think I'd like to check out Dynamics. Like you!" "I think you'll do amazing wherever you decide on, Chuu."
Leyya getting some sister time with her baby sister Chuui, braiding her hair for her. She adores that kid and wants nothing more than to see her succeed wherever she winds up. She's SUPER proud of her regardless.

Chuui is SO god damn cute.
I think I want to give Chuui braces. I figure it's something the asura have figured out anyway, and it's something Leyya would help with once she had custody of Chuui. Especially since Orann was not exactly the best dad and had been neglecting Chuui a LOT before Leyya came back into the picture.
Leyya and Chuui are almost 30 years apart agewise. At least their dad kind of gave up after Chuui.
(Although uh. The reason he gave up is genuinely heartbreaking. A little for him, sure, but a LOT for Chuui.)
