tl;dr:

dreamcast will update on friday - september 9th, september 16th, and september 23. after that, there will be a hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time.

now if you're wondering just why the hell that is:

the base of my thumb has been hurting! VERY badly! it's been this way for roughly 4-5 weeks, slowly getting worse over time. and... i've just been ignoring it and figuring it'd go away on its own.

it has not gone away on its own.

as a result, it's made drawing pages exponentially more difficult, and the buffer i've built has sadly dwindled down to its last legs. technically, i can still draw with very frequent breaks, but it's absolutely not sustainable for two pages a week, and there's no way i'd be able to draw fast enough to rebuild my buffer. and frankly, i probably shouldn't be drawing at all if i want to heal before the end of the month.

regarding the anniversary piece for this year, i still very much want to finish it! it's just going to take longer than anticipated, and might not get finished until after the anniversary has already passed. i figured it'd be better to announce (and pin) this now, rather than wait until the queue's already used up. i apologize for the disappointment. this one's entirely on me. hand pain is really scary, especially for artists, or anyone that uses their hands frequently. heed my warning! if your hand hurts listen to it!!!
