Built in 1890 for under $1 million by Roebling Bros. (who also built the Brooklyn Bridge). The Arcade is still operating to this day and has undergone numerous restorations.

Duluth, Minnesota, July 1909. "Superior Street, featuring two trolley lines and the famous Lyceum Theatre."

The Lyceum was said to be Duluth’s first “fire-proof” theater when it opened in 1892.  It hosted live shows until 1921 when it was converted to showing movies.  Eventually it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1963.
