Were you crazy for wanting more from Tommy? Probably. You knew deep down that everything Tommy had done and been through kept him from giving his all to you. It hurt so badly to know you were giving your all, and in return, all you got was stoic Tommy. He showed he cared in the way he looked out for your well-being, in the way he brought you a flat, in the way he always made sure you had the finer things, and that you were safe. At the end of the day, that left you wondering if that was enough. You wanted to hear how much you mattered, wanted someone to cuddle up to at the end of the night, and someone emotionally there.
Again, it left you asking, Is it enough to make you stay?
