Finished this wayyyy later than I was hoping to but I really wanted to put as much as love into the details of this one as possible. Definitely the most detailed piece I've done in a while--their stage outfits alone took FOREVER. Painting this was truly a joy though because I was able to study the movie and gain more and more admiration for the details and love that got put into the movie. Can't express enough what an amazing job the directors and art team did!! It makes an asian american artist so happy to see what is basically a love letter to Korean culture (not just k-pop) and I imagine even the korean american experience. Such an honor to see so much talent and dedication!
