CHARACTER INSPIRATION SERIES: the pooka (puca).

The Pooka, or Puca in Irish, is a phantom fairy creature that hails from Ireland. This creature is know to be an animal-spirit. In fact the Pooka is a shifter, and can take on various forms, such as a horse, donkey, cat, dog, bull or human.

The animal Pooka is usually jet black with fiery golden or red eyes, and many associate it with the devil. The Pooka is regarded as a trickster, and can bring help or havoc. In general, interaction with it is not a good thing, because it can symbol oncoming death. It is also a fertility spirit since it has the power to create or destroy, as well as the ability of human speech.

CHARACTER INSPIRATION SERIES: elementals, psychics & crystals.

Long ago, elements were believed to be a type of nature spirits, said to control one of the four elements: air, earth, fire, water. They would reside in odd places in nature, such as rivers, plants, bogs, mountains and minerals. They are thought of as the embodiment of life force.

Throughout the years, however, controlling elements has become a facet of psychic abilities. A person with psychic abilities can control external and internal abilities through extrasensory perception thanks to their inner eye (the third eye). 

Psychic abilities can increased and focused by using crystals, generally through contact with the third eye. By touching the crystal to your third eye, you can increase your own energy, cleanse your mind and do much, much more.

CHARACTER INSPIRATION SERIES: me and the devil. [x]

Evil's second in command, Satan's lover, the Devil's associate. These are all titles given to the one chosen to walk side by side with the big bad, whether it be an angry killer or the Devil himself. Often times he or she can be just as cruel as their counterpart, because working with such an evil will desensitize one to the horrors around you.

This character will often be driven to the "dark side" because of an overpowering emotion: jealousy, betrayal, greed, pride, etc. And these emotions can eventually lead to their downfall, because when you make a deal with the Devil, you're bound to get played. More often than not? That deal means you've signed your life away, and the Devil intends to collect.
