Prompt: Clint and Dick meet/met in the circus

Show us their time together under the Big Top, or let us watch them reconnect as adults. Will they just clown around? Will everything come tumbling down? Is someone struggling to juggle the responsibilities of the mission with the realization that they’re facing off against someone from their past? 

Sure the be the main attraction, you bring the story, we’ll bring the popcorn.

🗄 Anything with Mollymauk? If not, anything with Caduceus?

I’ve thought a little about Lycan Molly, and his potential friendship with Yasha in that AU.

“Aw hell,” Molly rubbed the space between his horns as the last bit of dark fur faded from his hands and feet, “Where did we…”

“We’re outside the tent,” Yasha reassured, her hand on his arm encouragingly, “Don’t worry, you didn’t hurt anyone.” Molly sighed, allowing his posture to slump.

“Thank you, love,” Molly said with his usual ease returning, leaning on her as he stood, “I don’t know if I’m ever going to get used to this.”

“Maybe not,” Yasha smirked, helping steady him the best she could, “But you know I’ll help however I can, right?”

I was reading the fic, Hollow Coves by @brobeast  I had to draw Molly painting the side of a circus wagon while Yasha watches him work. I feel like the banter between the two would be:

“You know you have a stool.” said Yasha. 

“Bold of you to assume I can even move right now let alone sit.”

Aren't Dick Grayson and James Jesse technically about the same age?

I mean, what is ‘technically’ when time doesn’t work? As far as I know their ages have never been pinned to one another, and that’s all that counts with the slippery timelines of the DC Universe.

Trickster and Kid Flash both debuted in the same year, 1960. At that time, Trickster was an adult, though admittedly not a very old one, and Wally was in his early teens.

Wally and Dick are consistently within a couple years of one another in age, so I’d venture to conclude Richard Grayson and Giovanni Giuseppe are not about the same age, but I could be missing something!

Molly giving Yasha flowers for her collection is the best thing.

Sparring ends with someone flat on the ground, laughing instead of angry.

"Better, but you are forgetting one thing!"

His tail has delicately curled it's end about Clint's ankle, like a creeping snake. If it were a snake perhaps it'd have bitten Kurt's sparring partner, but there is always the chance he knew and set himself up for this on purpose.

Either way, Kurt is on his back, belly open to any number of attacks, and this is his last resort. His laugh is a cackle as he snaps his tail like a whip, causing it's light grip to tighten and his strong pull to drag the archer down to Kurt's level.

"I have more than just my four limbs!"

Day 4 of the Oops! All Clints edition of the @ficwip all-ships ship week kicks off the crossovers section! Today's fic is for Clint Barton/Dick Grayson, who both grew up in the circus (though had very different experiences there)

Maka grinned, "A strong man, ya? Hmm, I knew  a strongman once, hehe, total teddie bear though." She looked a the flyer, "You excited for this, ya? I am, haven't seen a circus show in years." Sure, she's been the circus for a little under ten years, but it's been forever since she sat down and watched it from the crowd. "I'm Maka, by the way." She held out her hand, a toothy grin on her face.
