Flower hadn't been seen since the 'escape from the circus' adventure. As soon as they had returned to their quarters, she had run to her room in tears.
Her son AI had turned into a monster.
A monster, like her.
She had tried to keep him from falling into this fate and failed.
She failed him.
Days had passed since the adventure, and Flower wasn't responding to anyone who tried to communicate with her. Her door remained locked, with an unusual silence engulfing any attempted conversation.

"I guess I'm just not feeling well. It wasn't that your adventure was bad, I just wasn't really feeling up to adventuring today."

He stares at her expectantly, eyelashes fluttering. It's a monumental occasion, time for HIM to pick a name
Flower looked at her creation. He really wanted a name, and it'd be easier to call him by a name.
"I like it." It sounds familiar "Is that what you'd like to be called?"

Flower was upset with the last "adventure".
Well, everyone was. But the usually chatty cat had her knees to her chest, sitting on a couch. It was almost like a cloud was over her head, but the fact she wasn't speaking was the most concerning thing.
She hadn't been this quiet since Scratch's Abstraction.
Well, not like anyone but Kinger would recognize that fact, and his memory was iffy on a good day.
Tears began pooling in her eyes, which quickly began falling. She tried to rub her eyes, to make herself stop, but they wouldn't stop.
Never could she remember feeling so alone in with other people.

Every morning, on the dot, Caine will appear outside her bedroom door and knock with all the enthusiasm he can muster. Today is no exception! His knocking continues in a steady and predictable rhythm, as he says to the closed door, "oh, creator~ my little square canoodle! Let's get this show on the road!"
Flower was used to Caine's enthusiasm. However, today she was not in the mood to deal with it. She knew Caine would keep knocking if she didn't answer. He might even be worried if she locked herself away for too long.
Faking a smile that didn't reach her eyes, Flower opened the door.
"Good morning, Caine. What's the plan for today?" She tried to muster up some enthusiasm in her voice, but it was clear something was bugging her.
