Hiya Hatter! Nice to see you out n about again, but I got a question. How do ya feel about those who cosplay you?

It is after doing some research on what a ’cosplay’ is, that I feel I can answer. (For those who don’t know, as I had to use the google to find this out: it means to dress up in costume as a character or celebrity.)

In any case, my opinion on the matter? I personally find the notion very flattering. However, I can’t help but wonder if I too count as a ...cosplayer? Is that the correct noun? A person who dresses up? When I am at my most lucid, I am more than aware that I am not the story book character from Carroll’s work. I don my attire in the same way an actor would: being the Hatter is being the best version of myself. The version I wish the world to see me as. It is a persona, where as the world is my stage. 

My point being... I suppose I am also merely pretending to be the Hatter while also being myself-- which in turn is another Hatter entirely... If that is at all understandable and not total nonsense.
