Delhi Daana Satram (16 and 17 December 2023)
With heartfelt blessings from Poojya Swamiji, Nutan Swamiji, and Ma, warm woollen clothes were distributed in Yamuna Pushta, Delhi. Our dedicated volunteers and devotees from CIRD, Delhi, worked tirelessly, labeling and organizing the woollen garments to be distributed to five schools. To bring smiles to these children, chocolates were also shared. Here are glimpses of the love and warmth we are privileged to spread together.

So how do you protect your pet during respiratory illness season?
Here's what I do:
Wash paws after every walk
Avoid any dog-dog contact (dog parks, pack walks, daycare, etc)
Avoiding any busy areas (no fairs or pet stores)
Doing my best to keep her immune system as strong as possible (continuing regular exercise, probiotics 2-3 times a week, Immune Bites from Open Farm daily (basically a multivitamin), bone broth a few times a week, and fresh fruits and veggies every other day)
Weekly baths and bedding washed
Food dishes washed daily
Avoiding communal water bowls, puddles, and swimming
Making sure she's warm enough when we take our walks
If you have a working dog who needs to continue working:
Avoid pet friendly areas if at all possible
Have them wear boots (Ruffwear and Non Stop Dogwear are my favorites)
Wash gear when you get home (or disinfect if you can't wash)
Use settle mats if possible
Carry some pet friendly disinfecting wipes and wipe them down after sitting/laying down on the floor (you can do this at your car or house too if you aren't able to wipe them down every time)
