"Oh, teeth? I never met you but like you already..." the medium mumbled to herself with a curious look at the paper. Was this a coroner of some sorts? She was also starting to identify this one as someone to be careful with, until the last few lines, which caused a smirk. Now this was someone twisted. It would have been hard to match Anika in her eyes, but certainly twisted enough for some good sick fun.

I first read His Dark Materials in Fifth Grade and was like 'Oh this is great it's about cool animal companions!' and then I reread it years later and was probably more surprised than I should have been how much managed to go over my head as an eleven year old.

I read it in fifth grade, too, because someone compared it to Digimon on a message board. Now I see seventh and eighth graders reading it and I’m like...are they seriously reading it? It’s one of those books that’s good to have in connection to the past, because I can still remember my first time reading it and I can feel the changes every time I read it again.
