Narulta Pesayma is a Vanguard for the Marshalls. Born to a Krogan ‘father’ she was always stubborn and argumentative. After decades as a soldier for the Asari government, and eventually a Commando, she retired from public service and shifted to mercenary work. Narulta learned a lot working for Eclipse, including some programming from the Salarians in the group.
She scavenged this FENRIS mech and named it Janiri after the Asari goddess of storms.
Though she enjoyed the camaraderie of the mercs, her sense of duty and honor returned, and she struck it out on her own. She decided to work from the shadows, taking payment only against those that hurt others, primarily drug traffickers.
The Asari at the Citidel took notice of not only her combat abilities, but also her solitude. That was a trait they were looking for in a new group they were forming, the Marshals.
A Quarian pirate, Sai'Resa was a marine in the Migrant Fleet, but was eventually exiled for her aggressive attitude. She thought that if they had the ability to, the Quarians should take a new homeworld by force. They stripped her of her ship name and marooned her in a desolate trading post.
After a while of working odd jobs to survive (she was best at mechanic work) the station was attacked by a group of Turian/Krogan pirates. She was able to kill one of the Krogans with an omni-tool through the eye, taking his weapon for her own and killing several other pirates.
When the captain found her cornered and out of ammo, he recognized her ferocity and offered her a place on his ship the Villi. Being as she had killed crewmates, it wasn’t easy. She had to fight her way through the hierarchy, rising to the personal council of the captain. In order to better utilize Krogan weaponry, she had partial Volus exoskeleton installed, giving her tremendous strength in her right arm allowing her to use even the infamous M-300 Claymore.
Eventually, the law caught up with them and they were boarded by an STG strike force. The pirates were killed in large numbers, including the captain. Sai'Resa rallied the survivors and routed them, taking over the crew.
She now is the scourge of several trade routes, and enjoys killing her foes the old fashioned way, with a sword forged by her Krogans after securing their victory and survival. She kept the name Villi for their ship, but has added her own on to it, now the Villi'Nedas.
Almost done with this Mass Effect series. Bhusaids (byu-sah-yids) are predators from a planet that underwent a drastic climate shift, meteors struck and disrupted the tectonics plates, spouting toxic fumes and grounding most of the creatures. They started as flying and diving creatures, but have switched to being primarily land based.
Since the discovery of mass relays, they have flourished as mercenaries, tending to favor cryo-grenade attacks followed by a burst of bullets.
They prefer ambush attacks and hit-and-run tactics, with light armor.
Fegryn is a Laqna pirate, he specifically hunts diplomat ships searching for high-value figures to ransom.
The Myoir are a smaller race, but have a very dense muscularity. They evolved as digging/burrowing hunters on their homeplanet, the surface being uninhabitable for several of their early millenia. They are very sensitive to light in standard environments, and wear masks to filter things to their comfort level. Myoir rarely take these masks off, when away from home, and will decorate them with clan smybols.
Myoir in the past hunted large burrowing creatures called rinfulo, which they did by having one member of the hunting party cut themselves and leave a blood trail, trusting the others to kill the rinfulo before in caught up to them. They still carry knives, but more ceremonially now. A sign of trust is for a Myoir to draw their knife and grasp the blade, showing they trust you to follow through with your actions, no matter the danger.
Typically, they have a great intuition for mining and ores, able to pick out quality ones by smell.
