the ending says that's not you.
even when the cycle goes bad and your fears and insecurities do win over you - thats not really who you are and you will try again

The thing is, there's no "real ending" to the lore - both City Walls and Drag Path are real endings to the same cycle - some days you win, some days you lose, what's important is that you try again.
"But now the night has fallen, abandoned by the sun" - City Walls
"Then the sun begins to rise, we made it through the darkest night" - Drag Path
"The sun will rise and we will try again" - Truce
That's what matters most. You will fail most every day and every way. Start a streak you're bound to break. But don't give up. You learn with each cycle. You've got it down that old fight for survival. You've dug your heels into the gravel as evidence for others to discover - a drag path etched into the surface as evidence you've left there on purpose. ON PURPOSE! WHEN YOU'RE TRULY AT YOUR LOWEST YOU DON'T CARE, YOU CAN'T FIND THE ENERGY TO ALERT OTHERS YOU JUST TRY TO SURVIVE AND SOMETIMES YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH FOR THAT. BUT LEAVING MARKS IN HOPES THAT SOMEONE WILL FIND THEM - THAT MEANS YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF ENOUGH TO ASK FOR HELP, TO WANT TO BE FOUND, THAT TOO SHOWS GROWTH

I made these paint for my werewolf family, they are playful and lively, even though they sometimes trashed the hood :v.
