(for context, both of them are from the IE or inland empire, basically the part of cali in between LA/San Diego and Nevada. while cali does have a reputation for being relatively affulent, the IE has a much higher poverty rate.)

(it's really crazy that they're both from the same area AND drafted second overall AND had two of the best rookie seasons of all time)
