cannot get over cj can’t tell liz no. as an extension of cj’s relationship with jed where she is often one of the only people who can tell him no with impunity it’s sooooo interesting for there to be this charming young woman version of him and for that to be cj’s kryptonite. and you expect me to think she’s straight
"The press eats their friendship up; Jed Bartlet is nothing but relieved that two women he loves so much seem to get along so well. Behind closed doors, Liz Bartlet and her marriage is a game CJ just can’t stop playing."

Ellie assumes she won't be missed when she sneaks away to the hayloft with Andy, but Liz and CJ have apparently had the same idea.
“Liz used to take boys up here back in high school,” Ellie is telling god-knows-who, “but Doug didn't come down this weekend, thank God, and I saw Charlie and Zoey on the back porch before we came out here.”
Liz’s stomach rolls at the mention of her husband, and more than that, at the sinking knowledge that they are about to be inescapably caught. Her mind races for any excuse or solution as Ellie’s companion speaks, another familiar female voice.
“What could be more romantic than a hayloft in a horse barn?” The voice belongs to Congresswoman Wyatt, Toby’s ex-wife, and Liz watches CJ’s lips part in shock. She scrambles off her, trying to redo her shirt buttons, and Liz manages to unfreeze enough to sit upright again, calling out in a hopeless attempt to stall her sister.
CJ saying "Sam, did I tell you not to get a crush on the boss's daughter?" Is wonderful like I love that they've talked about his crush on Mallory. But it ALSO reignites my firm belief that CJ had a serious crush on Liz during the campaign that never quite went away.
