Dream Resident Evil game, them working together

Imagine Claire is on a mission from Terrasave to stop an incoming attack from The Connections and Ada is there on a mission to steal a sample from whatever virus they're after.

A third party causes said virus outbreak and they are forced to work together.

I imagine their dynamic looking like this:a tense, high-stakes partnership born of necessity, exploring the clash between Claire's selfless, victim-focused altruism and Ada’s morally grey, mercenary pragmatism. Without Leon or Chris acting as a buffer, the two would likely have a friction-filled relationship where they compete to manage the situation while simultaneously needing each other's specialized skills.

At first Ada does EVERYTHING in her power to push Claire's buttons and to manipulate her and to her surprise and annoyment, it doesn't work and Claire throws it back in her face and for some reason, this amuses Ada in ways she cannot explain.

Claire spends the game trying to save lives, while Ada focuses on acquiring bio-data for a third party. Their conflict would be ideological, with Claire finding Ada's methods unethical and Ada viewing Claire's focus on victims as emotional weakness.

They would likely be forced to work together, leading to a "cat and mouse" dynamic where they constantly undermine each other's hidden agendas, yet trust each other to survive

Ada uses all the info about Claire she's gathered around the years and uses it against her. Her need to save her brother, Sherry and the need to be seen as a protector, mocks her affection for Leon. And Ada can fire back by saying "Leon always said that that you're a mercenary with gooodness deep down. I don't see it"

Over time, they could develop a reluctant respect for each other’s skills—Claire's tenacity and combat experience against Ada's tactical brilliance and espionage skills.

Claire faces the big bad B.O.W., maybe a Zeno clown and Ada comes to help save the day.

They shake hands and kiss and part ways as friends

I hate people get made about rare pair ship they might have never met but you still think it cool pairing and that dynamics would be fun together. I get lot with Claire x Ada. like pretty sure for while people shipped characters that never met and from different franchises. So I don't see the problem. I don't know that's just one thing that annoys me.
