Do you think Clancy started wearing the mask because the banditos associate his face too much with Good Day Dema?

So like, Clancy is Nico's son right?
I'm almost certain that I'm not the first person to say this and that there's probably a 20k word reddit post that is far smarter than what im about to say - but I have Thoughts™️
I love looking up the meanings of names and decided to look up "Clancy" because I know what Tyler is like
"Son of the red warrior"
Clearly this means he's linked to Nico in some way, but what?
There's a lot of lyrics that point to the possibility him being Clancy's father:
tyler is so slay HAHAHA
I tried ✨️✨️
the CHAOS of london n2??
(slight tw: mentions of choking)
(📸 from ctmylip on twitter)
clancy didn't even LOOK at torchbearer, almost confirming that he can't see him. and he DIDN'T. TAKE. THE. JACKET.
poor torchbearer had to be by himself :( AND HE WAS STILL HOLDING CLANCYS JACKET TOO. im so done.
okay but seriously like what the hell is going on with clancy. it's unsure if he became a bishop because he thankfully didn't wear a robe on london n2, but there are still various hints and implications that he IS a bishop.
that final letter was clancy leading himself to power and taking over that power for himself, and so hes fucking THROWING AWAY TORCHBEARER.
so the fact that clancy is starting to forget and go against what the banditos stand for (remember the FPE and how it potentially represents clancy's memories, then being blacked out and destroyed?) could mean that he's turning into a bishop.
..but this could ALSO mean that clancy's going his own way, since after walking away from torchbearer he blinded himself with his stole.
and not only that, he was choking himself with it multiple times throughout the show. clancy could either:
be trying to get back in control of himself because maybe this isn't the path he wanted.
be dead. (AAAGDGXGZHSH WHAT THE FUCK)
im actually terrified of whats to come. OHH CLANCY AND TORCHBEARER PLS KISS AND MAKE UP OR SMTH WE MISS YOU 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔
Absolutely everyone after Clancy didn't take the jacket :

yea I just got out of the shower and thought of another dema theory/thoughts. I'm clocked in 24/7 guys it's a hard job.
anyways.
Tyler has been telling us from the beginning of the album cycle what would happen. the first single, announcing the new era was overcompensate. Tyler has said in interviews that Clancy (the album) is Clancy (the character) coming into his own, and accepting his leadership role.
This entire time, Clancy has been running from his identity as the exception; the only person that can seize, the only one that can take down the bishops. This whole time, he's been trying (and failing) to be just a normal person. But time and time again, he's proven to be different from everyone else. He wants to just run away from the bishops, not defeat them. but he is always taken back to dema somehow, and somehow, he always escapes.
So after he finally accepts his role in defeating the bishops on voldsoy, he overcompensates. After running away for so long, he instead runs head first into danger. dangerous bend symbol and all that. but also, his mindset shifts as well.
It starts out fine, he's more willing to lead everyone and takes on the burdens that come with that, he's a little reckless, sure, but sometimes you need that with this sort of thing. But soon, internally, he starts to think that maybe since only he can defeat the bishops, he alone has to. And y'know maybe because he has this special power maybe he's almost better than everyone else. actually maybe he's the only one that can lead Dema to its full glory.
Clancy's role of defeating the bishops was meant by Torch as "we can do most of it together, but Clancy has to do the final blow" ut instead Clancy takes his status as the exception to be "I, and only I can ever defeat the bishops. I have to lead the rest of you guys" which isn't really what Torch was saying lmao.
So in the final battle, Clancy gets this big idea to do everything alone. and Torch can't really stop him. So thats why Torch needs to BREACH the tower (and Clancy) and go "wtf dude get off that high horse man ur being stupid. also take my freaking jacket."
I seriously dont know why I ever thought anything else.
Been really thinkin of what Tyler meant by "Over take your former self". What former self is he talking about? Is he talking about the person he was when he was a blind believer in Dema? Is he referring to the person he was when he started siding with Trench? Is this a subtle hint to how his newfound powers are slowly taking over his sense of self, and turning him power hungry? Maybe draining his morals? He did seem pretty proud of himself for controlling some poor guys body...
