Does Little Crow see Moth to Flame as her father? She seemed like she was old enough to remember Lilith when she got dropped off. Does she still think about that or feel bad about it, or does she have some understanding of the situation? Have she and Moth talked about it at all, especially after he ran into Lilith again more recently?

Moth knew that Little Crow was going to have a hard time once Lilith left. She was 3 moons old, more than old enough to hang on to the memories of her mother. Once the initial sorrow at being left behind faded, it was replaced by bitterness and anger. For a long time in her youth, Little Crow HATED Lilith for leaving her behind.

It took a lot of love and patience on Moth's end. He understands a bit more about WHY Lilith left her kit with them. Lilith is a very young cat, and seems very uncomfortable around others. It's not his place to speculate, so he doesn't, but it's very clear in his opinion that Lilith would not have had kits if the choice was left solely up to her. But Little Crow is a child, and he knows explaining that to her won't ease her pain. He tries to always be there for her, to let her vent her feelings without passing judgement. It doesn't mean he never makes mistakes - especially early on, when they were still getting used to each other - but he's still very patient and tries to never take her feelings personally.

His kindness and understanding has paid off. Little Crow does see Moth as her father, and even calls him dad sometimes. They love each other fiercely. She's come a long way with her feelings towards Lilith, even if it still hurts sometimes, and she feels very loved and fulfilled within the Garden. Having a friend in Honeykit - also the child of a single parent - has really helped her loneliness. She's never felt unloved in her time there, it's just taken her a bit to adjust to the change.

I don't think Moth would have told her about his moon 23 meeting with Lilith, mostly out of respect for Lilith's privacy. But Little Crow knows she is always welcome to talk about her feelings towards Lilith with him! She's ten moons old now, and in a good place where she doesn't need to think about Lilith all of the time, and when she does, she has room to work through her feelings. While she might not feel the same about it every day, she does learn to hate Lilith a little less with every day.

I rlly enjoyed drawing Snowpaw in her dream! The moonstones were pretty hard 2 draw at first, but I finally, FINALLY did it! Yay!

I can remember if i’ve asked already, but i’m planning on starting a new clangen comic while i work on my mini comics and was wondering if you had any suggestions on motivation ?

I made a longer post with advice (including the topic of motivation) here. But long story short:

Play ahead and take notes in various Clangen saves until you find one you like. Make sure you want to use it and that interesting things happen that you can look forward to, and foreshadow them in the comic.

Maybe don't let your Clan get too massive (which I know is hard lol) so it doesn't become exhausting to keep track of everything.

Use an art style that isn't super time consuming to draw so that you don't dread drawing pages.

Once you've been posting, if you lose motivation, reread either your own comic or other people's Clangen comics. This always make me want to draw pages.

Don't put huge amounts of pressure on yourself to get pages out or to keep going. If it stops being fun for you, there's no shame in taking a break or stopping altogether.

Captain Cricketstar is from @the-victoria-ship ! the story doesnt have much out yet but i love the artstyle and am super excited to see where it goes!!

Lionpaw is from @briarclan-horror-artlocke which i only just started reading but is super interesting so far 👀

Pansybloom is from @splinterclan which i JUST binged the entirety of and Pansybloom is my favourite character <333

Pinepaw is from @barrenclan which is actually what inspired me to create this comic! (this is technically not a clangen, but i wanted to include it in here since it's still in the same genre)

Gold is from @cloververse which is the clangen run i've been following for the longest in the discord server and inspired me to restart my own loner challenge in there

Sofrito is from @vaporclan which is the clangen COMIC ive been following for the longest in its own discord server i looove sofrito (he sucks but dont tell him that (he already knows))
