For me personally, as imortant as Luke is, the worst part actually is how new SW was promoted as female centric. And what do we actually get? We get potential romance due to bond established during mind rape as per quote by JJ. So they created romantic plot by inserting bond between man and woman thanks to him violating her. Have Rian ever met living woman before? I'm just so....

I mean everything is bad. Everything. I can’t even get into just how bad this all is. 

Rian apparently has a girlfriend. So he has met a living woman before. But his straight white entitled male-ness is clearly shining through here.

Not at all actually. What about Bellamy’s Season 3 story line was out of character?

His desire to protect his people,which allowed Pike to take advantage of his traumatized condition him to make morally questionable decisions? (Remember his willingness to shoot and possibly kill Jaha in order to protect Octanakin in Season 1, remember that Shumway took advantage of Bellamy’s traumatized condition as well.)

The part where he made decisions based on his emotions as opposed to cold, cool logic? (Think hanging Murphy, think saving Mel).

The part where he killed several Grounders to save his people? (Think killing the guard in Season 2, think “BBQ’d Grounder? I like it.”, think pulling a lever to irradiate hundreds of people, many of whom he knew to be innocents.)

The problem was never Bellamy’s actions. The problem was that the show didn’t focus enough on his story line to help us connect the dots.

Idk, I guess when writers went from point A to Z, they missed the rest of the alphabet, for me it counts as OOC. Also, the fact that the massacre happened because two white characters had to have the challenged in the story and not for Bellamy’s character development…Eh, just puts me off…
