Clark is also a college student who needs the money and works at the campus cafe and he actually requests the earliest shift in the morning because of course, Clark Kent is a morning person
Normally Lois never pays attention to the person she gets coffee from but this guys actually ask her name and he doesn’t know her usual and oh gosh she HATES new guys but she looks up and she kind of just stops working for a second because this new guy is built and he’s smiling and it’s kind of cute and dorky and she’s into that - so she keeps going during his shift and slowly Clark gets her to actually relax and enjoy her coffee
Clark is charming but he’s new and kind of lonely and he makes friends but he hasn’t explored the city yet and Lois is the first one to offer an official “city girl” tour and them kind of have an adventure
anyways Lois kisses Clark senseless and they start to date and they just stay together and eventually they both move out of the dorms and get an apartment together
