AU concept: The real world clashing with your universe
Mod Kit: Ooh, there's so many ways I go about this... I think I'll go with this:
I'm imagining the human Mod Kit (me) behind this computer waking up one morning in the form of the Pokémon hybrid Mod Kit I draw so fondly (Mewtwo/Sylveon/Tinkaton hybrid for thise not in the know). Which would be... A lot. To take in. That's the kinda thing that would start the day with a panic attack, that's for sure. (But hey, at least I'd be the same height!)
The "real world" news would be plastering real actual Pokémon all over, and people would be a little freaked out as they encountered/became Pokémon. But of a reality shock for everyone, since Pokémon is supposed to be fictional.
On the "Inari's world "side, there are suddenly an influx of people who have never encountered real Pokémon, Pokémon who woke up that morning as humans, and places and landmasses that weren't there before.
There would be major culture shock, a bunch of people and Pokémon having to learn to live with their new living space and maybe... I could befriend a certain blue Mew and her kidlins?
Okay I know the ending looks weird… I blame my phone storage at the time and imovie, which is the editing app I use.
This takes place a couple of good years after Aang dies and Korra is born. She connects to her previous lives, but because Aang died the way he did not only upset the balance of things, but the avatar state as a whole. Whenever she goes in there she is pretty much a mindless ticking time bomb with a whole arsenal of power. And her past lives are pretty much her inner demons atp.
Oh, and she still struggles with air bending just like in the show! But since Aang died at the age of twelve, he never had kids! So Tenzin doesn’t exist!
Introducing Kai in this au
The mom had passed away and Zuko promised to take care of her son. Kai is extremely isolated so he honestly doesn’t know about a war happening/currently going on. The kids just living his best life with his older brother, who can make fire appear.
After the battle between him and Katara the water tribe siblings convince Aang to abandon Zuko in the storm. Luckily after wandering Zuko is rescued by a mom and her son that live far from the kingdom.

There’s a time when Leo knows Hyun is doing a live interview. What else is he going to do other than watch it? Leo ends up sprawled across the sofa, watching and waiting for his boyfriend to show up on the screen. Eventually, Hyun is there, talking about the band and music and then the subject slowly derails onto Leo which prompts him to sit up and find his phone from the floor, opening a new text.
i can hear you he sends and then looks back to the tv.
Somewhere miles away, Hyun’s phone goes off and he pulls it from a pocket to see a new message from Yeobo.
Leo waits as Hyun stops to retrieve his phone and reading the text aloud, which spurs laughter, but Hyun doesn’t text back, distracted by more questions. Leo tilts his head to the side, bringing up another new text, still listening to the answers Hyun gives.

And he looks up to watch Hyun look at his phone again and read the text aloud, causing a silence and more laughter. Hyun gave one of his Hyun-pauses and Leo waited yet again for him to say something.
"Well, I mean I do but not in the way you’re probably thinking?" Hyun says, and it takes very few seconds for Leo to send another text to Kotenok though he’s smiling stupidly as he types the two characters and hits send again.

On the screen, Hyun takes one look at the phone screen and dissolves into giggling.
