These fucking entrepreneurs morning routine videos are so maddening.
"If you can wake up at 5 you're in the top 1 percent of people"
Bitch I wake up at five to go to work because I can't get a job anywhere closer to my house and I can't get a rental any closer to my job!
STFU about your 5 am start when most of us are out here doing that just to get by, not to meditate and sun my asshole.
In the past decade, photographer Conor Beary has gained a snapshot into global subcultures, from the Freemasons in Liberia to a retired gangster in south London. Here, he tells us why his latest focus was on big dogs.
“Socialists have been radicalized by-”
Socialists have been radicalized by their experiences and the experiences of people they love, not by gossip sites, Brendi.
Unfairly maligned as sex pests in recent internet videos, Satin Bowerbirds have in reality a largely-celibate society. Rather than waste their time with breeding the next generation, the bulk of this unusual bird’s civilization revolves around the creation and maintenance of small shrines dedicated to gods yet unknown to humanity. That said, it is true that a very small minority caste of these birds are kept busy “getting busy’ to ensure the continuation of the species, but they should be recognized as extreme outliers and therefore left uncounted.
Class cont.
Class is a descriptive word used to illustrate groups that society members are placed in. We have all heard of the terms lower class, middle, and upper class. We place people into these categories depending on their "social standing". Things that could influence an individual or groups social standing are profession, income level, inherited wealth, family lineage, and so on (Benshoff and Griffin). Class standing can significantly impact someone's quality of life.

The question of who works in creative occupations has also attracted…

It was really, really weird changing social classes through college.
So I've always been good at math, and my family has encouraged and supported me greatly (to the point of incurring the same debt I am to send me to college). I'm going into my senior year in engineering school with about 60k in loans already, which will be 100k when I get out.
Thing is, poor kids don't go to engineering school. I grew up homeless, didn't always have food, the stereotype. And suddenly I was surrounded by people who debated welfare as a philosophical issue, who were paying their exorbitant tuition prices with trust funds, and tried to teach privilege to me from the top of an ivory tower.
"I understand," my girlfriend would say when financial issues abounded "but I feel like you should have tried harder."
Meanwhile a friend would call me from home and ask me for $50 to turn his phone back on so he could use it to apply for jobs, because I *was* better off now. And he got a job.
Today I saw a girl post about how she "won't focus on others so much anymore, because it's time to focus on herself." She's just used her parent's money to pay for a 40 thousand dollar cosmetology degree. I don't like engineering. I like English, would kill to go to community college for it. But my mom is disabled, and I need money to pay for her care.
It was really, really weird shifting, and I have to say I'm not sure I like it.
