OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Alias: Angie @centurionwaited
Pronouns: She/Them
Age: 17
Timezone: PST
Activity Level: Something between a 5 or a 6. I’ve got play rehearsal every weekday from about 3:30-5:30 for the next two months but I’ll do my very best to be active
IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Rory Williams
Character’s age: 35
Sexual and Romantic orientation: Pansexual, panromantic
Ships: RoryxAmy, RoryxAmyxDoctor, RoryxDoctor, RoryxChemistry
Anti-Ships: Roryxforced, Roryxnochemistry
Character biography/history: He loves Amy’s stories. Always has and always will. But he can’t help the feeling that the stories are perhaps more familiar than they should be. He’s always put that down to how often he’s heard them and gone on with his life, but even that doesn’t seem quite right.
Character traits:
Amy Pond-Amy was the love of his life from the moment he moved in next door. Some of the areas around his 20s with her are a little blurry but that’s only to be expected. They were 20 after all.
The Doctor-Amy’s rather fond of the school caretakers. At first perhaps he was a little concerned, a little bit of insecurity lingering from childhood. But as time as gone on he’s gotten rather fond of them as well, particularly the one with a rather big chin as well as the scottish one that stops by sometimes.
River Song-He’s not sure why there’s an ache in his chest every time he sees the art teacher, or a certain sense of protectiveness that normally only comes when he’s around his wife. He’s yet to mention it to anyone, well aware of how little sense it makes.
PARAGRAPH SAMPLE
He’d known when he started traveling with the Doctor that it was dangerous. After all it was only a few adventures in when he died for the first time. Still, even that was somehow less painful than this, his entire body aching as he slowly drags himself towards the TARDIS. He’s almost reluctant to bang on the door, reluctant to give the Doctor any more reason to feel guilty. Unfortunately the TARDIS is bound to be the best option for the current situation, he’s not sure the local hospital knows what to do with wounds caused by aliens. The door opens and he tries his best to muster a weak smile, the blood in his mouth ruining the half-hearted attempt.
“ Doctor. “
_____________
He’s never seen the Doctor sleep. He’s never actually been sure the time lord slept at all. Yet, here they are, Amy asleep on his shoulder and the Doctor asleep on his lap. The movie credits continue to roll on as he gently reaches towards the blanket bunched up next to Amy’s feet, pulling it up over here before repeating the motion for the man on his other side. The rush of affection he’s feeling is almost overwhelming, a hand reaching out to smooth down the Doctor’s hair. If he could freeze a single moment in time and live in it, he’d pick this one. He’s got the two most important people in his life with him, both of them looking more peaceful then he’s seen in a very long time.
“ Goodnight you two. “
_________
“ He doesn’t talk about you. “ If anything scares him, it’s that. It was unrealistic to think that he and Amy were the only ones, and if anything he’s grateful that someone has kept him company when the two of them couldn’t not. But here he is, face to face with someone he’s yet to hear of and the nagging fear that’s now planted in the back of his head is that years later, when the Ponds have gone, is that the Doctor won’t talk about them either.
IN-CHARACTER QUESTIONS
What are your character’s last three texts sent? And to whom?
[text: Amy] You do realize leaving treats outside of the shed for a caretaker you hardly know is a bit odd, right?

[text: Amy] Please stop stalking the caretakers people are starting to ask me if you’re having an affair.
What would be your character’s last three social media posts?
Twitter: Someone came in today with a lightbulb up their butt. Sometimes I question my career choice
Twitter: I just asked Amy what her book was called and she threw the manuscript at me and told me to shut up and let her work.
Twitter: Amy keeps making fun of me for singing Moana in the morning
What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?
Thank you OSWIN for auditioning for our first alien OC EVIE SMITH, we love how in-depth and thorough you’ve made her and her daughter. We find the idea that she’s a Floraxian to be interesting and fun! We have decided to go with Elizabeth Henstridge and we are pleased to say that you have been accepted!
Please create and send in an account within 24 hours, thank you!
We will also have your character card updated shortly.
IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Evie Smith, 32; daughter: Millie Smith, 11(i realise there are a lot of smiths, i just went generic because she’s an alien so it felt right, but i’m also cool with changing it!)
Sexual and Romantic orientation: pansexual/romantic, but a bit too busy hiding/keeping her daughter safe for any of that sexual/romantic nonsense.
Ships: evie/chemistry
Anti-Ships: evie/forced, evie/no chem
Character biography/history:
- though she tries very hard to keep under the radar and away from all things rift/alien related (she really just wants to give her daughter a chance at a life she can’t have), her daughter Millie actually just started this past september at coal hill academy – the home of the very rift the mother/daughter duo snuck through – thus putting her in a position where she (and her daughter) are forced to interact with people she thinks might be involved in all the alien business. she’d considered kicking up a fuss in order to get her daughter into another school district, but she didn’t want to draw any extra attention to them – rule # 1 of being an alien refugee? keep a low profile.
- picked her current alias by doing a quick google search and picking at random a first and last name from the list of top 100 most common names in the uk. the more generic the name the better, she figured. but she hadn’t exactly counted on being surrounded by quite so many smiths when she’d chosen it. better to be boring than tracked down by the blorgon mafia, yeah?
- she is of a humanoid alien race which has a mutation gene that allows them to take on the form of whatever sentient creature that makes contact with her bare skin. she can control this power, a little bit, by slowing down the process– but so long as there is contact she will take on the physical structure of the being (conversely once contact is broken she is able to return to her natural form), though she is able to hold this mutation as long as she likes it does come with a cost – she is able to see the future of whoever’s entity she wears, and that is very rarely a good thing.
Character traits: + caring, courageous, intelligent, enthusiastic. - cautious, guarded, know it all, perfectionist.
Connections:
Rory Williams: Her favourite male nurse. Rory is kind, dedicated, brilliant with children, and doesn’t ask too many questions which are… actually exactly the traits Evie looks for in a friend these days. Someone, she can enjoy a laugh with, who has no interest in prying into her personal life. So they’ll sit together in the canteen if they happen to share a lunch break, or meet up for the occasional coffee – he’ll share stories about his very ginger wife, and she’ll share anecdotes about Millie and that’s good enough, isn’t it?
Martha Jones: Evie and Martha work together in the ER, and if she’s honest she sort of looks up to Martha… in a way. She thinks she’s a brilliant and capable physician, especially considering the obsolete tech the year 2016 provides. She thinks they could actually be pretty good friends – both kind, quietly, slightly nerdy individuals. It’s just… she gets the sense that Martha knows a bit more about the rift and the resulting alien activity than she lets on. And Evie can’t afford to risk being sent back through.
Ashildr/Me: Mayor Me. The first person who greeted her when she passed through the rift, and the one who helped her get acclimated to the area. When they first arrived, Mayor Me gave them shelter on Trap street. And when Evie insisted on building a life in London (being human passing, apart from the gloves they’re forced to wear has its perks!), Me helped her find a flat and set her up with a job. All she asks is that Evie be her eyes in the hospital, and report any new arrivals to her so that she can over them the same protection Evie was given.
ORIGINAL CHARACTER INFORMATION
Face claim: 1st choice Elizabeth Henstridge, 2nd choice Chloe Bennet maybe?
Pronouns and Gender: female, she/her, mutant humanoid from the future.
Additional biography:
- she comes from a planet that is unpronounceable by most humans, in a future most of earth’s population hasn’t even considered. a planet with no sun (it’s basically always day and everything appears to be the colour blue, this tooks some getting used to when she was first on earth), that has the most beautiful mountain range in the galaxy, and one that has been in a civil war for as long as history has been recorded by the people who live on it. two races – one with all the power and one existing only to serve, and then her kind. the mutants. half breeds. the lowest class citizens. and so naturally the leads of the rebellion.
- evie was born into a family whose outward appearance was floraxian – and so long as they always wore a pair of gloves, they were able to fit in and and reap the benefits all floraxian’s were awarded simply for being born. which was great, in theory, apart from living in fear of being caught. living as a floraxian meant more opportunities, better food, access to a better education (which is how evie was able to be trained as a physician… she’d be thankful later for such thorough training when she found herself working in a primitive earth hospital in the 21st century.)
- however evie never quite felt… right. it seemed wrong, din’t it? that she reap the rewards of a society that runs on the oppression of her own people. so in her 20′s she joined the rebellion, using her status as doctor to help. but her idealism perhaps made her a bit naive. and so she got caught in over her head – pregnant and in way too deep in the blorgon mafia. a fact that became particularly evident when her then boyfriend (and father of her child), a fellow mutant higher up in the rebellion one night drunkenly admitted that perhaps the intention of the group was not as noble as she once believed.
- with no way out, and a young child to protect she did what she had to do, and found a way out after a chance encounter with a time rift. she had no clue what would be on the side, but it seemed a brighter possibility than what the mess the were up against.
- earth provided a lot of challenges and even more new opportunities. like the opportunity to start over fresh – new identities and all. and so long as she always kept on a pair of gloves, her cover wouldn’t be blown. which was nice, wasn’t? safety at last. she does miss her family, but she knows they are safer without her around. and anyway, she’s got millie and that’s all the family she needs.
- though there is a part of her that worries her ex will find a way through the rift and come to take them back, she can’t bear the thought of it being closed permanently (monitored, certainly, but kept open). she knows she not the only being in the galaxy that’s ever needed a fresh start. and with mayor me and the trap street there’s no reason refugees from across the galaxy shouldn’t be able to find the same safe haven in london as she has. within reason, of course.
- all of that being said she does know how to protect herself. she may look very sweet and innocent on the outside (and she is both of those things, for the most part), but since coming to earth and escaping the rebellion/her ex she’s decided she never wants to feel helpless again, and so has taken some self defense classes and even knows how to carry a gun. (she does keep one in the flat in a lock box just to be safe, but it’s not loaded.)
- in her spare time she works on creating a gene suppressant. mainly for millie’s sake, something she can take (like a vitamin or a shot) to keep her powers under control and maybe offer her a real chance at a normal life. but so far she’s come up completely empty.
PARAGRAPH SAMPLE
She had a system. Finely honed over years of overachieving. She lined her open books across the table – by subject and in order of importance – she’d study one subject until she either got bored or distracted at which point she’d move on to the next. The genius part, of course, being that it prevented her from wasting time closing her books and finding her place in the new one. Efficiency is the key to good grades. As proven by her many years of excellence. Who said you couldn’t be brilliant and a Hufflepuff?
That is to say, she generally had an effective system. But that day something seemed to be going awry…
She’d just moved from Defense Against the Dark Arts and onto Potions when she realised it. Her pages were askew. She’d been meant to read Chapters four and five, but she was on seven.
“No,” Jemma asserted to herself, flipping anxiously through her very detailed planner, “No, that can’t be right I checked.” Triple checked in fact and yet….
Her eyes glanced from her to the Potions book again, now midway through the second chapter.
“Oh!” Jemma gasped in surprise, leaning forward to inspect her books. “Now that’s new. How you doing that then?” She whispered into the pages of her book, eyeing them curiously.

IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Liam Campbell
Age: 29
Sexual and Romantic orientation: Greysexual, panromantic
Ships: Liam/Chemistry
Anti-Ships: Liam/ No Chemistry
Character biography/history:
Liam Campbell was born and raised in Scotland. He’s the youngest of three children, and has had a passion for sciences from a very young age. He has one older sister, and one older brother. They all have different interests, so Liam never really got to be very close to them.
Being the baby of the family, he’s a big momma’s boy and was rather spoiled by his mum growing up, which his older brother claims is the reasoning behind him being so socially awkward around people his own age. Despite not being very close to his brother however, and growing up being teased by him for being spoiled by their mum, his older brother got into a few fights at school when he was sticking up for Liam. Neither of them talk about it though, and when their mum would ask what happened, they’d both stick together about some lie they made up. It was some of the few times their mom actually saw them sticking together.
He moved to England for Uni and wanted to get a degree to do big important things, but throughout his time there, he discovered he had a passion for teaching when he took up a job tutoring young kids in the local community. Teaching isn’t exactly the ‘big important things’ he had in mind, but he realized how important it really is, so maybe he’s still doing what he dreamed.
During his last year of Uni, he became a teacher’s aide at Coal Hill. He’d heard that Coal Hill was a prestigious school and was honored to work there. The same year he graduated from Uni, he landed a job there.
The first few years there, it was a great job. He was able to stick to himself as much as he wanted and the school was almost everything that he imagined it to be. It was his fourth year there that things started getting weird. There’s a lot of rumours flying around trying to explain the weird stuff at Coal Hill, but Liam is pretty sure it’s all down to budget cuts.
He may blame it all on budget cuts, but deep down he knows things are happening around the school and it sort of terrifies him. He loves Sci-Fi. He’s not so sure he wants to actually live it.
Personality: Liam was always a bit of a nerd, (or geek depending on who you ask). He loves Sci Fi, Star Wars and Star Trek being a couple of his favorite things to watch. He has a Scottish temper, and can sometimes get pretty grouchy over the littlest things. He’s always been a socially awkward person, but since being at Coal Hill, he’s started to grow out of that, and more into himself. Socializing still isn’t his favorite thing to do, but he’s definitely a lot better at it than he was while he was a student. He has a tenency to get pretty dramatic about things, especially when he’s over compensating for something. For example, blaming everything on budget cuts at the school, or freaking out because someone started bleeding during one of the class experiments.
Character traits: positive: caring, intelligent, passionate
negative: dramatic, impatient, socially awkward
Connections:
Evie Smith: The two met through Evie’s child, and was admittedly quite taken by her, though he had to roll his eyes over the fact that her last name was Smith of all things. To tell her apart from the rest of the Smith’s he knows, he has her in his phone as ‘Pretty Smith’, though he’d deny it if she ever saw the name in his phone.
John Smith (Metacrisis): The two have neighboring classrooms, so the two bump into each other often. More than Liam likes on most days. Not that he doesn’t like the Maths teacher. He does seem brilliant, and passionate – he’s just not sure if he’s always passionate about teaching.
Donna Noble: Liam finds Donna Noble to be one of the most normal adults at Coal Hill, and enjoys stopping in the office to chat with her from time to time – Usually to gossip about the strange things happening around the school.
ORIGINAL CHARACTER INFORMATION
Face claim: Iain De Caestecker (number one choice) – 2– Brett Dalton 3 – Luke Mitchell (Idk I didn’t really have other FC’s in mind tbh???)
Pronouns and Gender: he/him
Species: human
PARAGRAPH SAMPLE
“Okay, don’t forget your homework and remember to read the next chapter in your textbook. There will be a quiz over the content of it.” Liam announced, just as the bell rang for the next class – the sound of their grumbling not going beyond his notice. He finished wiping the board clean for his next class and nearly dropped the eraser when he heard a loud bang just outside his class room window.
“Oh, bloody Hell,” He grumbled, setting the eraser down and moving to open the window so he could look out into the courtyard. Nothing.
“Hello?” He called out, looking back and forth for the source of the noise before deciding that it might have been something in the air vents popping. He wouldn’t have been surprised with all of the bloody budget cuts the school seemed to be making. He needed to remember to write a letter over his concerns… He was worried about his salary, but more importantly, he was starting to worry about the safety of the students.
IN-CHARACTER QUESTIONS
What are your character’s last three texts sent? And to whom?
[text to Mum] The job’s going fine, mum. Don’t you worry. The kids love me, even!
[text to Teaching Smith] Does your class have to be so loud? What are you evendoing over there? It’s /Maths/.
[text to Mum] Thank you for the Haggis Crisps by the way! Got them in the mail yesterday. The bag didn’t make it long enough to see today.
What would be your character’s last three social media posts?
@mrcampbellch Twitter feels like the social media of Coal Hill. Even the Social Media has budget cuts.
@mrcampbellch I’m not afraid to admit that the movie Sing looks really good. If only I had time to see it.
@mrcambellch I thought this was supposed to make me feel more connected to the students. I’m not even that old, and I feel so out of touch. What is fleek?
What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?
Liam hits the snooze button a lot too, waiting to get up until the last possible second. Sometimes he shaves, sometimes he goes without depending on the day. Brushes his teeth and puts on the outfit he’d decided on the night before. Food is kind of important to him, so does make sure he wakes up in time to have a hearty breakfast, of usually pancakes or egg sandwiches. If he doesn’t wake up in time, he’ll pick up something from a fast food place or deli on the way to work.
Thank you OSWIN for auditioning for CLARA OSWALD, we absolutely loved your take on Clara and every little detail you’ve put into her, we can’t wait to see her at the school and interacting with everyone and we are pleased to say that you have been accepted!
Please create and send in an account within 24 hours, thank you!
IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Clara Oswald
Sexual and Romantic orientation: bisexual/romantic
Ships: clara/chemistry first and foremost, honestly if they’ve shared a scene i probably ship it. clara/doctor, clara/river, clara/osgood, clara/jack, clara/rory are some of my faves.
Anti-Ships: clara/forced, clara/no chem, clara forever alone
Character biography/history:
- with the exception of a few poor fashion decisions and a rebllious streak through her late teens, losing her mum at such a young age has only made her kinder. she knows the value of a person and the place they take in your life. and while she’s not the sort to wear her heart on her sleeve or let just anybody into her inner circle, she cares a great deal about he people around her, and she’ll never leave a friend in need behind.
- which is how she found herself nannnying for the maitlands through her early twenties after graduating from uni. their mum had just passed away, Mr. Maitland had needed someone to pick up the slab, and being as Mrs. Maitland had been such a good friend to her own mother, it really hadn’t taken much though for her to put her travel plans on hold to help out – she felt she knew what they were going through. the job didn’t pay much, but with food and lodging taken care of, she was able to save up a bit.
- so when Mr. Maitland finally did hire a permanant nanny (only two years after her temporarily taking on the position), she’d saved up enough to rent herself a nice flat in the city, just a few stops on the underground from her new place of employment – Coal Hill Academy. She’d taken the position to fill up her time between travels with The Doctor, and to remind herself to keep her life balanced. It was always much harder to remind herself not to fall in love when she was caught up in the Doctor’s world – she figured she liked kids enough and she’d taken the teaching courses, so why not? It seemed permanent enough to cement a life outside the Doctor (especially after his regeneration), whilst still providing enough freedom for travel and adventure. And besides, with a degree in English Literature, there really wasn’t much else to do, was there?
- has a bit of a troubled relationship with her dad now that he’s remarried. she knows intellectually (and as an adult with a good head on her shoulders) that her dad deserves to be happy, and if Linda gives him that happiness, who is she to deny him that? But emotionally she still can’t quite wrap her head around him finding that happiness with anyone who isn’t her mum.
- has in the past (or maybe it’s the future, or present? she can never really be sure) been romantically linked to Jane Austen. the details of this relationship only exists inside a journal which she’s hidden away from the doctor (and those nosy eyebrows of his) – though whether’s he’s found it and disapproves, she’s not sure. either way, he continues to bring her back to visit, so she’s really not too concerned. if only they could meet up in the right order…
Character traits: + brave, kind, clever, compassionate. - bossy, egotistical, impulsive, distrustful
Connections:
The Doctor: Her best friend in the entire universe and favourite hobby, The Doctor has become one of the most important people in Clara’s life. Not that she’d ever admit it. Or think it too loud when he’s around, just to be safe. The adventures, the laughs, the stupid bits of trouble he’s always getting them into – it’s amazing. But it’s more than that, isn’t it? She’s seen him all (good, bad and in between fashion), been through his timestream (even if she can’t really remember it)… and she loves him anyway. Or well… it’s complicated. But so long as she’s in control of their relationship, she thinks they’ll continue travelling together for a long time.
Petronella Osgood: They met through UNIT…. at least, she thinks they did. Hard to say, really, now that there’s two Osgoods bopping around London. Being one of the few people in the entire universe who knows her secret (or well, part of it, but she doesn’t expect Osgood is going to give up which of her is human or Zygon anytime soon), it only seemed natural the two spark a friendship. And when Osgood started working at Coal Hill the two only go closer – meeting up for coffees here and there, a good gossip, and maybe a chat about what exactly is going on with the rift, and why it’s suddenly appeared at the school.
Jenny Flint: Clara’s always like Jenny, from the moment the first met, and truth be told every interaction they’ve had since that first meeting has only proven her initial gut instinct to be right. Kind, warm, sweet as can be – Clara is just naturally drawn to Jenny. Plus they’ve got something huge in common – their own ‘Sherlock Holmes’ to keep in line. Even if Clara’s still pretty sure whatever’s brought them to modern day London has probably got some kind of sinister plan in the works, she still pops buy the Tea Emporium at least once a week to catch up. And anyway, if something does go wrong at least she knows she’s in good hands – Jenny and Vastra always make sure to call the police when alien baddies get in the way.
PARAGRAPH SAMPLE
She jumped (slightly – for all she knew he could be a serial killer!) when someone plopped down on the bench beside her, but quickly recovered when she realized who it was. The Doctor. Of course he’d choose scaring her half to death over actually announcing himself. Honestly – they needed to start working on his manners. Among other social challenges. Sometimes she wondered if he wasn’t born on another planet.
Actually, that might actually explain the eyebrows…
Accepting the proffered coffee she gave it a hesitant sniff, nose wrinkling cutely as the sweetness attacked her senses. It smelled like something John would drink, but a coffee was a coffee she supposed. “More something than latte, if you ask me,” she commented (rudely), before adding a reluctant, “Thanks.” After all, he had gone to fetch it for her, even if he hadn’t remembered her order.
She held the takeaway cup up in a silent cheers, before biting the bullet and taking an experimental sip. “Ugh,” she protested with a loud gulp. Yep. Definitely as sweet as it smelled. “Doesn’t anyone enjoy the flavour of coffee anymore, or are we forced to mask it with a chocolate swirl – whatever?” She was probably being unfair. Not everyone enjoyed bold flavours such as herself, but with all the teas the two of them had shared he ought to know better.
Still as she gave a sigh, she leaned into his side in her version of an apology for her pouting – fully expecting his frame to turn rigid under her weight (if he didn’t pull away completely – in his defense she was acting rather childish.)
“So,” she started, cringing against the sweetness as she took another sip of her ‘coffee’ – frankly, she needed the caffeine. “Where to next, Doctor? You buy enough time in that coffee shop to think of any other sights you won’t remember how to find?” She was teasing him, mostly – but there was an edge of annoyance to her voice, her inner control freak coming out to play. She wasn’t very good at handing over the reigns.

Thank you, SHANDI for auditioning for AMY WILLIAMS, we loved your take on the character and can’t wait to see this version of Amy brought to life and so we are pleased to say that you have been accepted!
Please create and send in an account within 24 hours, thank you!
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Alias: Shandi
Pronouns: she/her
Age: 27 (soon)
Timezone: EST
Activity Level: probably around a five? i work full time so it’s hard to tell some days.
IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Amelia Williams
Sexual and Romantic orientation: Bisexual, panromantic
Ships: Amy/Rory, Amy/Chemistry
Anti-Ships: Amy/River
Character biography/history:
- There’s a lot about Amy’s life that she doesn’t remember, and some memories that feel fabricated. She doesn’t talk about this too much though, because she does remember visiting a few therapists as a child, and remembers biting each one of them. She doesn’t really want to see one as an adult. Especially since she’s not so sure she’d not bite them, even as a grown adult.
- She’s under the assumption that both of her parents are dead, but sends a card to her Aunt every Christmas, something that she did even when she traveled with the Doctor. (Not that she remembers that). The only oddity was her Aunt asking what happened to her Christmas card the last couple of years, to which Amy just assumed they got lost in the mail.
- She longs to be a mother, and knows that Rory’s always wanted to be a dad. Being surrounded by kids all the time doesn’t really help that longing, and she’d started to look into adoption agencies, but hasn’t told Rory yet.
Character traits: positive: passionate, adventurous, loyal
negative: stubborn, impulsive, short tempered
Connections:
River Song: There is something about River that breaks her heart. The first time they had a conversation, that was actually light and fun, Amy started crying and had to excuse herself. It’s mind boggling, and it tears her apart because she likes to think that her and River could be really good friends and that some day she’ll be able to have a conversation with her without feeling like her heart was being pulled from her chest. At the same time, she can’t seem to stay away from the art teacher either.
The Doctor: Amy has a theory that all of the caretakers are the same person, but the only person she’s mentioned it to is her husband, who thinks maybe it’s just her overactive imagination. So she added a bit about her raggedy doctor changing faces in her books. Apart from that, she’s rather fond of the caretaker, especially the Scottish one, who she sees most often. Sometimes she leaves some of her favorite Scottish treats outside of the shed in the court yard for him.
Rory Williams: Her husband, and rock. Sometimes, she thinks she counts on Rory a little too much to be healthy. He’s the one thing in her life that’s always been a constant and that means more to her than she can ever put into words. She regrets not realizing that it was Rory sooner.

Beep Beep Beep.
Amy’s hand flew out from under her covers to hit the snooze button of her alarm, letting out a long drawn out groan as she rolled over and tugged the pillow over her head and mumbled incoherantly into her pillow until the allotted time for her ‘snooze’ apparently ended. The muffled but insistant beeping from her alarm wafted through the pillow, but instead of turning it off she just squeezed the pillow tighter over her ears.
How was it that 5:00 am came so quickly?
“Alright! Alright! I’m up!” She shouted, tossing the pillow when it stopped being any sort of help at blocking out the annoying noise. Finally rolling out of bed, clicked the alarm off and moved to get around, moving on autopilot as she did most mornings. except usually she didn’t hear someone rummaging around in the kitchen.
Instantly she was more awake, with a sudden shot of adrenaline now running through her. Silently she picked up the closest hard object - a blow dryer, fantastic - and slowly edged her way over to the door. “I’ll give you the count of three before I aim at you,” she announced, holding the blow dryer like a gun as she pressed her back to the wall next to the door, ready to pounce on the intruder. “One - I’m warning you - Two - I’m armed! - Three!” She shouted, jumping from behind the wall and pointing the blow dryer towards the kitchen before dropping it when she noticed the familiar face. “Oh, my god. What are you doing!?“

What would be your character’s last three social media posts?
@makinghistorycoolagain I just want to make this clear, I’ve been making History cool again long before Lin Manuel Miranda. #notthatHamiltonisntgreat
@makinghistorycoolagain I’m still waiting for my royal invitation to meet the queen. Maybe it got lost in the mail? I hear that happens.
@makinghistorycoolagain posted a photo!
What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?
The very first thing she does is hit the snooze button at least five times before finally dragging herself out of bed to do her normal morning routine which consists of a shower, brushing her teeth, doing her make up, picking out an outfit on the whim that she always tells herself she’s going to start laying out the night before, and then usually grabs something to eat on her way out the door.

IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: The Doctor
Sexual and Romantic orientation: grey-romantic, asexual
Ships: the doctor x chemistry
Anti-Ships: the doctor x no chemistry, the doctor x forced, the doctor x metacrisis
Character biography/history:
♦ No matter what regeneration that shows up, the Doctor will always go by the alias of ‘John Smith’ and will continuously take on the mantle of Caretaker for the school. Many people believe there’s about twelve different Caretakers, and wonder why Coal Hill needs that many, but really, it’s just the Doctor. (He’s also not a very good Caretaker and tends to only clean one hallway, neglecting the rest of the school.)
♦ Sometimes, when no one’s around or looking, the Doctor will stick strange devices in places so that he can always keep an eye on the school. Of course, why he would plant one in Clara’s room is a mystery to most, and he’s just counting down the days until Clara finds it.
♦ Stores his TARDIS in the shed or the broom closet when he’s at the school. Many students and some faculty wonder what happens when one version of the Doctor goes in, and another comes out. There’s rumours going around that it’s a portal to another world… and well, they wouldn’t be entirely wrong.
♦ The Doctor avoids certain people, either because they left on bad terms, or because he doesn’t want them to know he’s there. Oftentimes, he escapes through windows or up into the ceiling to avoid detection. Usually it ends with him being seen. He’s not very good at going under the radar.
personality:
The Doctor isn’t one to beat around the bush, unless, of course, said bush has a infestation problem and the only way to cure it is to actually beat around it. He’s an odd alien who does things in his own time (which is to say, not linear and not slow like it is for humans). Sometimes he’ll spout off random facts and help students with classwork, and sometimes he’ll literally hiss at children. It’s a gamble and one that leaves his companions wondering what face they’re going to get that week.
Still, deep down, the Doctor is one of the most caring and protective individuals that anyone would be lucky to meet. He doesn’t always see himself as that, preferring to state that he doesn’t care, or that he can’t, but he knows better and he always tries very hard to show that he’s trying.
Character traits:
☑ intelligent, quick-witted, caring
☒ stubborn, hubris, guilt-ridden
Connections:
♢ Clara Oswald: The Doctor knows her. Or did. Or will. Or has… He’s not always sure, but there’s certainly something about that English teacher that keeps drawing him to her. Sometimes it seems to him that she just ‘gets’ him, and that he doesn’t have to say too much in order for her to become his interpreter. Fiercely though, he protects her, no matter what face he’s in, and he knows that ought to count for something.
♢ Madame Vastra: Sometimes the Doctor really wonders if she’s not stalking him. After all, she’s a lizard lady and quite frankly, don’t lizards stalk things? Still, he knows he can trust her and is happy to find that she’s opened up a shop across the way from the school. Not only can her get information, but he can also get tea. (It’s a win in his book).
♢ Metacrisis Doctor: The Doctor’s Metacrisis, a person that the Time Lord has always struggled with on how to act around and towards. It’s not that he doesn’t love him, he does, but it’s hard to look in the face of a man who can reflect his own past misgivings. Still, once he discovered that the Metacrisis was back within his own universe, the Doctor has decided that it’s high time to fully investigate… and to see what it is he can do to help.
PARAGRAPH SAMPLE
There was a brief flicker of recognition in the old Time Lord’s eyes as he scanned her face. She harboured a lot of love, compassion, pain, and anger. All things that he would ordinarily admire.
This woman, this CLARA was a storm with skin. Both beautiful and dangerous, and all things that should be admired and feared.
When she spoke, he smiled gently at her; still keeping his hand placed over her’s and hoping that she wouldn’t ever stop looking at him like that. “You know,” he spoke softly, unsure and surprised by his own tone. “If I had my ship, my proper ship, I would take your hand and ask you to run with me.”
There was a sense of familiarity there, something that was causing him to desperately keep himself in this ‘Clara’s’ light. “CLARA” he repeated, taking her hand again and this time bringing it to his lips.
IN-CHARACTER QUESTIONS
What are your character’s last three texts sent? And to whom?
THE DOCTOR –> CLARA: HOW DO YOU TURN CAPSLOCK OFF!? I HATE EARTH PHONES. - a long strange string of emojis-
THE DOCTOR –> METACRISIS: HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU GOT HERE FIRST? I COULD HAVE GOTTEN HERE FIRST. SEE? I’M FIRST. ME.
THE DOCTOR –> RIVER(but accidentally to everyone): LOOK AT ME! I’VE GOT A PHONE! I CAN TEXT, DO THE COOL EMOJI THING, EVEN SEND VIDEOS AND PICTURES! NO… NOT THOSE TYPE OF PICTURES. DON’T BE NAUGHTY.
What would be your character’s last three social media posts?
1. blurry pictures of animals he thought were neat or cute. all captioned with various emojis and filters. An entire Instagram account filled with them.
2. Awkward and terrible selfies of each face and regeneration. All posted to said Instagram. (Except Six, Six’s selfie is self-proclaimed ‘perfect’. Eleven’s is an action shot of him trying to do a cool trick.)
3. One single snapchat post because Clara told him it would be fun. It’s of Twelve, and he’s scowling. (puppy filter added, he got very angry when he stuck out his tongue)
What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?
Sleep? What’s sleep? The Doctor only needs 15 minutes of rest to be able to go on for weeks straight. But he does enjoy tea when getting up, he also likes to check the news. All the news. Though he quickly shuts it off. Sometimes he argues with Handles.

IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character desired: Captain Jack Harkness
Sexual and Romantic orientation: Pansexual, Greyromantic.
Ships: Jack x Metacrisis Doctor, Jack x Chemistry
Anti-Ships: Jack x No Chemistry, Jack x Forced
Character biography/history: (literally don’t have to use all of this but)
Captain Jack Harkness grew up on the Boeshane Peninsula in the 51st century. He spent half of his childhood living a normal life that any kid could want, with his younger brother, Gray; his mother, and his father. That was until an unspecified alien race invaded and began to terrorise the people and eventually took many for slaves, or killed them on the spot. Jack was lucky enough to escape either fate, but as for the rest of his family, they were not. His father was murdered, and his brother taken, leaving his mother in a desperate shamble state of mind, which caused her to wrongfully blame the young boy for what had happened. This scarred the Captain and made him live with a lifetime of survivor’s guilt.
Almost immediately, the young boy enlisted with his people’s army and began to fight in a war that no one should have ever had to suffer. Years later, as a young adult, after Jack had did his time in the military, the Captain decided to be the first to join up for the Time Agency, where an influential woman by the name of ‘Leona’ took him under her wing and began having people start to call him ‘the Face of Boe’. He liked it, and he liked the attention it granted him, causing his own personal worth and self-esteem to flourish and grow. It was then that he met the later known Captain John Hart and the much harsher General Bell.
The two, Jack and Hart, would be inseparable and become partners, in every way. However, the longer Jack stayed with the Time Agency and Hart, the more he became disenchanted by the entire lifestyle as well as the constant watchful eye of Leona. He saw the corruption the Agency was doing and how they had trained him into being a deadly interrogations and torture expert, he saw how psychotic Hart really was, and for that, it made him jaded and selfish. Pulling the young boy that had been happy, back within himself. He knew he had to get out. He wanted more, he needed more, but with the way he was going, he was stuck.
That was when he decided to go rogue and become a petty thief and smuggler. This of course, led him to a life on the run for many years until a surprising event, and surprising people happened to him in 1941, London, England…. When Jack Harkness first met the Doctor and Rose Tyler, he was a coward, a thief, and most of all morally ambiguous. He didn’t care who got hurt, just as long as he got paid and it all came out gravy for him. Of course, as fate would have it, Jack soon found that his life was turned completely upside down and inside out when he started to turn his emotional and moral tide. Some say the Doctor changed him, some say Rose Tyler did, Jack says it was a little of both. He started to see things more clearly, started to become selfless, and most of all, he started to care.
With the Doctor and Rose Tyler, life was beautiful again, and he never wanted to let that go. He loved both of them deeply, even considering the short time he’d known them, he became protective of them, wanting nothing more than to travel alongside them forever. But with all good things in Jack’s life, it had to end. Things changed rapidly when they landed on Satellite 5, ending up in three different television shows that was being broadcasted to a corrupted Earth below far off into the future. Both the Captain and the Doctor knew something was wrong, that everything just felt… off. And when they equally thought that they had lost Rose… things took a deadly turn. However, it wasn’t soon after that, that Jack was able to figure out Rose was alive and that he could bring her back. Of course, that was also when the Dalek’s arrived. Knowing what must be done, Jack took the remaining survivors aboard the satellite and rallied them together so that they could have a final showdown against the aliens. He knew he was going to die, he knew that the people he was willingly leading for the Doctor were all going to die, and yet… he inspired them.
Of course, when he was the last standing, Jack didn’t go down without a fight and little did he know that, that was going to be his first and only true death. After being resurrected forever by the entity known as Bad Wolf, Jack found that he was left alone on the Satellite. He was surrounded by the dead and he was frightened. He was sure he had died, and though he couldn’t see and physical portrayal of it, HE JUST KNEW. When he had went searching for the Doctor, which took him months to do aboard the station, he couldn’t find him. He had been abandoned, left alone to find his way home… or rather, to find a home. And that he did, as a fresh faced immortal, in Cardiff, Wales.
When the initial shock of dying and reviving had came and passed, Jack started to feel invincible. Started to test his limits. It made him reckless and dangerous, but he didn’t care. He wanted to find the Doctor, wanted to ask him the questions of 'how’ and 'why’, but most of all, he wanted to tell the Time Lord that he forgave him, and that he still loved him no matter what. However, all of that was derailed when a underground organisation known by the name of 'Torchwood’ took him hostage.
Jack spent centuries working for them, slowly changing them from the inside out, making them more of an organisation for the Doctor rather than against. He became their star pupil, one of their top agents… Everything was working out for him again, but of course, on New Year’s Eve of 1999, things took a turn for the worse and Jack had come back to the Hub where he saw his leader had murdered his teammates, and then he was forced to watch the man take his own life. Though, that was not before the man entrusted him with Torchwood Three, effectively making Captain Jack Harkness, long-time field agent, head of Torchwood’s Cardiff division.
It wasn’t long after that, that things within Torchwood began to descend. It started with the betrayal of his second, Suzie Costello and the recruitment of Gwen Cooper. Then a massive nosedive of events followed: First it was the heavy deaths of two of his most trusted team; Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper, then it was the incident of the '456’ and the world’s children that resulted in the deaths of Ianto Jones and his own grandson, Steven Carter. The latter death still ways heavy upon his shoulders as he was the one who ultimately had to sacrifice his grandson to save the planet. After that was the loss of Torchwood itself, and the recruitment and death of Esther Drummond. An American who, alongside CIA member Rex Matheson, were sent to find the remaining members of Torchwood Three to figure out why the world 'just wasn’t dying’.
After Jack realised he was the only one that could die, the Captain began to feel and fear the very real and impending death he had so long wanted. Discovering that his blood merely fueled a crevice in the Earth that was dubbed 'the Miracle’, Jack made yet another ultimate sacrifice; this time himself. Finally ready to embrace death, the Captain’s own Gwen Cooper shot and killed him so that he would not have to do it himself. He should have known that his death would reverse the process and ultimately would make him return to life forever once more.
Immediately after the funeral for Esther, and the discovery that Rex was an immortal as well, Jack and Gwen soon found themselves brought into a parallel universe solely known as 'the Pocket’. It was a strange place filled with even stranger folks. Jack encountered many new creatures and even a few more immortals. It wasn’t until those that had died began to show up alive again that he started to realise that maybe the Pocket wasn’t as bad as it’s gilded prison-like state seemed to be.
It was also when he met Doc. Doc is the Metacrisis of the Doctor, stuck in his 'tenth’ face, Jack began to talk to him more than he would the actual Time Lord. He grew close with him and bonded with him, even allowing himself to fall in love with him. Though he knew Doc was very much in love with Rose, Jack still couldn’t help but to pine for the half-man/half-Time Lord. It wasn’t until after nearly four years in the Pocket that Jack realised he didn’t want to leave; and rather he wanted to stay with Doc forever.
Then Doc disappeared one day, and soon everyone within the Pocket but himself and Gwen had vanished. Shortly after that, the Pocket itself began to disintegrate. When he began to believe that he and Gwen weren’t going to make it out of there before it imploded; Jack woke to find that they had landed in a brand new world.
After an argument, Jack had given in and gave Gwen her wish of Retconning her so that she couldn’t remember the details of the Pocket. What he didn’t realise is that the amount he’d given her in his haste was enough to completely erase the events of the Miracle. Now stuck pretending that he’d just came back to Earth after the '456’ Jack and Gwen have begun to wander around this strange new planet.
However, to his surprise and delight, he’d manage to find Doc again as well as many of the other people he thought he’d never see again. After Terminus had faded and all seemed well, Jack found himself and Doc in a series of adventures as the two decided to stick together and travel.
They quickly met up with Leona and her equal, Bell, and realised they needed to get away. Once escaping them, Jack and Doc have found that there was a spike of rift activity going on in London… right into the heart of Coal Hill Secondary School.
Posing as an American History teacher, Jack’s vowed to keep a close eye on what’s been going on, while working alongside Doc. What Jack doesn’t realise is that he and Doc are not the only ones to have come across the spike in activity and that they will soon be faced with old friends and forced to meet new ones…
HEADCANONS:
- Jack carries with him his greatcoat, his vortex manipulator, his wallet, his mobile, and an odd set of keys that he isn’t quite sure they belong to anyone.
- Jack was once a lover of Oscar Wilde. Having fascinated the author so much, Wilde wrote a book based around him. That book was ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’. Which Jack suggested the last name in memory of his lost brother. To this day, Jack reads the book in amusement and in fond memory of Mr. Wilde.
- Since he is a ‘fixed point’ and basically impossible, no one, including the angels and demons can read his mind. Nor can they heal him. Though when vulnerable, a Time Lord can access his mind through telepathy.
- Jack is a collector of books and anytime he sees one he doesn’t have, he’ll find a way to acquire it so he can add it to his personal collection.
- Jack holds a candle (more like a giant flaming torch that could rival the Olympic’s one) for the Metacrisis Doctor. He loves him and respects him dearly and would do whatever he can to ensure Doc is safe and sound.
- Jack has decided to take up teaching American History at Coal Hill, due to his first-hand knowledge and the fact that he can immerse himself within the school and not be considered strange or an outsider.
- Jack still works for his own brand of Torchwood, and though he’s on the run from Leona while still trying to keep safe with Doc, he’s happy where he’s at and is willing to stay with Coal Hill for as long as it takes.
Jack was the man who waited for centuries on end for the one alien he thought he loved beyond all recognition. To some extents that was still true. He was still waiting, and he was still waiting for an alien he absolutely loved beyond human barriers and capacity. Except this time, it was a different alien, one that was half human, and one that seemed to be withdrawn from everyone currently.
It worried Jack, and after he had been talked to (or rather, at) by the Doctor, his worry increased that much more. For the first couple of days he searched for Doc; calling out his name, letting his guards down so that the other could seek him out through a mental connection, but it was too no avail. Either that or Doc was completely ignoring him.
And that stung a bit more than Doc just up and leaving without an explanation.
In fact, the Captain was used to that. Having his Doctor leave without another word. He knew he’d come back some day, that was never the problem. It only became a problem when he started to get the feeling that he was being purposefully shoved away. However, Jack accepted it for what it was, he wasn’t going to chase the Metacrisis down if he didn’t want to be found. Instead, he’d wait once more-and throw himself into getting repair work done for the town.
There was more people here by comparison to when he and Gwen had first dropped in and now it was crucial to get order and familiarity established. So that’s what he did. He repaired the barn as best as he could, and then set off to work on the big building he wanted to claim for a town hall. It would take a lot of work, but he wasn’t one to shy from a challenge.
When he was finished that evening, and realising the time and wondering why no one had stopped him from working in such a late hour, he retired back to his room in the farm house that he had initially shared with Doc. He wasn’t planning on falling asleep, so instead he did what he always did and picked up a book he’d found and began to read.
Relaxing back onto his bed, he kicked his feet up and started to pour through the adventures of a man named Shadow and his odd companion Mr. Wednesday, before he began to feel his eyes growing heavy. Before he knew it, Jack was asleep.
IN-CHARACTER QUESTIONS
What are your character’s last three texts sent? And to whom?
JACK -> DOC: Doc? You up? I think I found a nice little cafe on the corner. We should check it out, I heard they bake fresh scones every day.
JACK -> GWEN: I need a status report on the latest rift activity in your area. Make sure you have it the next time I see you.
JACK -> CLARA: -heart emoji- you’re the best, you know that? Thanks for taking care of that… Doctor… problem.
What would be your character’s last three social media posts?
1. A picture of himself and an unaware Doc at the local cafe. He’d post it to Instagram and caption it with #coffeedate… and a few hearts.
2. Another photo of his desk and how neat it is, showing off his collection of things he’s found over the years with a black and white filter and uploaded to Instagram. He’d caption it with #keepingitneatonworkday
3. A series of snaps on snapchat he’d send to Clara of him making ridiculous faces, and one final one of him being caught by Doc. He’s pouting in the last.
What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?
Jack, if he fell asleep that night, gets up slowly and stretches, then makes sure his coffee maker is working, and when it is, he then takes a shower.
If Jack has not fallen asleep, the Captain stays up all evening reading a book, drinking coffee, and then when it’s an appropriate time in the morning, he takes a shower to get ready for the day.
