“I will kill my brother to avenge my clan... that is my goal!” I like the raw anger the young naive Sasuke possesses. It’s before he gets hit with the more existential dread type anger after killing Itachi and during the 5 Kage arc. It’s just... a different type of anger. A more innocent one almost. But his first steps to being the vengeful person he always is. Where I am in the anime currently, Tobi told Naruto, Kakashi, and Yamato that Sasuke and the Uchihas descend from the son of the Sage of Six Paths who received the short end of the stick, which is why he shoulders the entire Uchiha clan’s hatred and revenge that had been engrained in them from the beginning. At this point in my Naruto journey, Sasuke is the actual definition of revenge. I look forward to seeing how he keeps growing and possibly changing. I can’t believe I’ve only been into Naruto for 5 months and it already feels like I’m a completely different person. I can’t wait to finish the series and then rewatch it again and again...
