My funny uni

We were told there's a big chance the results will appear on the site this week, and our main uni page decided to play with us... They posted "the results is now available on the site" and ofc we rushed to the site, it's too much people logging in till it crashed. Then they took down the post. 5 mins later, post is posted again and again we rush to the site, but there's no results.. Again the site crashes in 2 mins again they took the post down... Thats gonna be a long night :') they are funny!!! My uni is funny!!

Done with a chapter and a half of Eastern effects on ancient Roman Empire (70% ready for the exam - hopefully)

Done with a chapter of Greek language / translation and grammar wise.. Need a re-look before the exam tho

Done with half the Italian assignment

Started the Morphological analysis of an ancient greek text

Started studying the Latin texts, did half 1/5

Read the Bible

Read a few pages of The picture of Dorian gray (been busy)

Duolingo, of course (to feel a sense of achievement)

Relative I haven't seen in a while: so what department do you study?

Me: classical studies, like ancient European cultures and languages department!

Relative: never heard of it haha

Me: 😮‍💨 used to be known as "Latin and Greek department"

Relative 2: aaah, so what do you do when you're done? Be a teacher? It's a useless degree lol

Me: tour guide, teacher, translator, journalist, editor, professor, writer, critic just anything basically with a couple of courses for better practice

Them: naaah
