I try not to fall into the "I never liked their work anyway" ditch when an artist/creator reveals themself to be a terrible person
BUT
a feeling I do have and will stand by is "While I enjoyed their work overall I did have some gripes that I overlooked out of affection and whimsy, but now that my loyalty is gone and my affection tainted there is nothing holding me back from enumerating my many grievances, to which the revelations of the creator's shittiness may or may not provide a new and infuriating context."
my “family” destroyed my childhood, ruined my teenage years and now I’m spending my twenties feeling like I’m under some unjust guardianship. I thought my twenties would be my deliverance, that after years of hell I’d finally be free but instead even tighter chains have wrapped around my ankles. I don’t even have the freedom I should have at my age, I feel stuck like I can never be myself except here. I can’t even say “screw it” and go do what I want whenever I want, like anyone my age. Sometimes I just can’t take this situation anymore, I want it all to stop but there’s no way out. They stole my life, broke it… if only I could have a second one
I relate so hard 3 years ago, but as i grow older i learn to detach from the parts that hurt. And surrounding myself with beautiful friends (even one) who actually cares keeps me sane. And as i grow my relationship with God makes things easier for me.
I hope you get through it, just wanted to let you know it gets better and you're not alone. Soon your whole life will unexpectedly change because of a job offer or a relationship or scholarship or something unexpected what ever it is, and you will find freedom bit by bit, and hopefully we can get out of this situation.

In the ye olde days, when technology allowed phones to become small but there was no general concensus on what a phone should/ought to look like, it was like the wild west of phone design. The crazier it was, the higher the prestige. Phones back then did two things and they did them with flamboyance.
And then Steve Jobs ruined everything.
