Adding a hermit crab

When you are a lover of animals, you don’t mind taking on one more especially for your classroom. So I added a fish and snail back at the beginning of July. She is doing amazing by the way. I have never seen such an active Betta fish before.

Now I have added a hermit crab to the classroom. His name is Hei Hei. He is very friendly and my school agers are enjoying him. These are critters who aren’t super difficult to handle and I know it will make the children happy to see him as well. Hopefully I can give him a friend soon.

Phineas the phish is all packed up in his temporary digs...staying in this sparsely-decorated condo until his spacious 2.5 gallon mansion can be transported home from my classroom and thoroughly scrubbed.
