Paint, I know you're hurting right now, but take it from someone  who's also taken on a terror's offer: 

It's never as simple as just doing one thing. That's never just it. Especially with one as greedy as Flamare. 

He'll use you for as long as he can, and he'll change you. Not in the good way, either. 

This isn't even me talking about Droog or Slick. I am purely concerned for you. I have no idea how serious you are about this, it's impossible to tell. But I just...don't want you go down this path. You deserve better. 

You can ignore me if you wish, I'm just worried.

He’s a little out of it because of the painkillers, but he’s healing well. 

His prosthetic leg came in, we should be attaching it soon.

Not a Hobo

  Slick was sure that he never had any confidence to face Ms.Paint. 

  Never.

  He was in front of the restaurant and he hesitated. Perhaps it wasn’t a good idea afterall, turn back was still an option. Spades Slick, being the lonely ex mob boss he was now, would never reveal to anyone his fear. That was enough to explain his worries about meeting Paint.

  There was a light cling of the door opening as he stepped in. He was the only one in all black and it was difficult to pretend he was a normal customer. Slick took his hat off and thought of where the other might be. He looked around until he saw her, and nodded nervously.

Better Late Than Never

Much to your complete lack of surprise, Droog really doesn't bothering keeping his trophies locked up nearly well enough to stop, say, you. While he was all distracted with Scout, you simply snuck in and stole teeth that...you're fairly certain are Fin's? There were a lot of teeth in the room, actually, and you just took the ones that looked...ugh, freshest. 

Because his bad habits made you root around in a bunch of creepy trophies, you also steal a crowbar that you think his universe's Crowbar used. 

You've got your Learner disguise on standby in your inventory by now, which is a lot easier than constantly putting on and taking off makeup. You look less put together than the last time you went to see Paint, with your shirt slightly undone to show off the bandage, and a faint stain still on your shirt (because after all, new detectives don't have a lot of money to spend on drycleaning). 

When you step into the diner, you've got a big grin on your face, trying not to look too smug and failing. "Miss Paint, are you here? I've got something for you."
