Why did none of the other BE ever question Edelgards connection to the Flame Emperor? Did they ignore her own crimes while condemning Rheas?

I’ve been given the impression that these discussions have taken place privately between Her Majesty and our various companions. As well, some of the crimes attributed to the Flame Emperor were truly perpetrated by Those Who Slither in the Dark to further divide Lady Edelgard from any potential allies. Any power she amasses is a threat to their schemes. True to their coercive style, they sought to get ahead of that risk.

In the case of a certain monarch, it was rather effective. I do hope his evolving shrewdness will awaken his sense of reason soon enough.

Due to the private nature of the conversations Her Majesty had with them, I cannot tell you the outcome. Some did approach me to ask about these atrocities to get the whole story, even if it was not always what they wished to hear. But I have full confidence in our allies that they would not simply overlook misdeeds that weighed on their conscience. It could be that they have determined that Rhea’s transgressions were more severe between them. While I can’t say what their stance is, you are well aware of mine.

Any and all horrors that we have had to commit or will in the future are the fault of your archbishop. Were she not so resolute in oppressing humanity, we would not need to resort to these measures. When she is dealt with, morality may make a return to Fódlan at last.

Help i can't sleep

Well, why can’t you sleep? How you handle it really depends on what the reason is. Because if your mind just won’t stop, that’s way different than sore muscles.

If it’s your head, the best thing I do is keep myself busy until I can’t keep my eyes open. It used to be that I’d pass time in town until I barely awake enough to make it back to my room, but now a few laps around the grounds does the trick. Felix trains or polishes his weapons, Ingrid reads or goes for a ride, His Highness drinks tea... Basically, you’ve got to try a few things before you find the ones that work. 

If you’re feeling sore and restless, try any combination of a warm bath, cozy blankets, and one of those new magic bed warmers without the coals. Sweet dreams, my friend!

Caspar, if you had to fight Dimitri during the war in a fight to the death one on one, where if you won the war would end, but if you lost you would die, would you try to beat him? If so, would there be any strategy you would try to use?

thought about this one for a while, and anon, have i got the strategy for you! or rather, i have linhardt’s strategy basically, i spent a bunch of time training with lin a little while ago on a similar situation. he was all like “you should aim for taller people’s knees, caspar!! you’re shorter, so you’re closer to their knees!!” and so obviously we trained because im awesome and Lin knows that training with me is the best possible thing to do!! then, fast forward, i prove height difference doesnt matter by hitting this guy RIGHT in the solar plexus!! linhardt was like “man Caspar youre so awesome of course height doesn’t matter” and i was all like “yeah totally but i couldnt have done it without you!!” anyway, my point is, given that situation, i would totally fight dimitri. because i can TOTALLY WIN!! see, so i can use lins secret strategy again, and totally beat that one-eyed lion into the ground!! of course, even if i did lose (which i wouldnt) it would totally be okay because ill have weakened him enough for someone else to clean up after me!!

so tl;dr i would totally sign up to beat dimitri with Linhardt’s awesome strategy.
