There should be blood on his hands.

After all he’s done tonight, there should be blood on his hands.

“Wheeler,” Claudio says. “Time to go.”

Wheeler blinks and looks up.

“You’ve been staring at your hands again.” It’s an observation. It has the barest hint of accusation.

Wheeler clears his throat and stands. “Nah, I’m good,” he says. He wipes his hands on his pants and stands. “Where are we going?”

“To the airport.” Claudio has some strange concern in his eyes.

“Already?” Wheeler looks around.

“Have you slept?” Claudio asks. “Wheeler, look at me.” When Wheeler can’t, Claudio grabs his face in his hands and turns his head. “Darling. Not a wink I assume.”

“I did,” Wheeler lies. “I slept.”

Claudio stares at him, studies his face. It feels penetrating. Unfair. “You fell asleep in the shower again.”

“You aren’t allowed – that happened once!”

“Twice, judging by the fact that your hair still seems to have conditioner through it.” His touch is strangely gentle as it cards through Wheeler’s hair. “Come. I will help. We can book the hotel for another night.”

Yuta wants to protest, but he’s unable to disagree. He’d like to disagree. He’d like to want to disagree.

Claudio’s hands are gentle, like they’re trying to apologize for the brutality inflicted the night before. Wheeler can’t quite reconcile the way Claudio’s lips gently press to the back of Yuta’s neck, the way his hands run through Yuta’s hair.

“You are doing a great job,” Claudio murmurs. “Such a good soldier for our king.” There are lips to the side of his neck, and Wheeler absolutely melts into it. It’s nice. It’s really nice. He doesn’t even have to move as Claudio presses up behind him. “How are you feeling?”

Wheeler mumbles, unsure of the words he’s saying, but desperate to feel more, stronger, better.

“I assume that means you feel better now?” Claudio says. His teeth graze gently against Wheeler’s skin.

Wheeler hums in response, finding words unnecessary. He wants it. He wants anything from Claudio.

“I need a yes, soldier,” Claudio says. His words start to fall more into a growl, something that gets Wheeler’s blood thrumming and his dick hard in seconds.

“Yes,” he breathes. Anything for Claudio’s touch.
