Master the art of pour-over coffee with these tools and a simple technique to achieve a clean and flavorful cup of coffee.
Ingredients: 20g freshly ground coffee beans. 300ml hot water just off the boil. Pour-over coffee maker. Coffee filter.
Instructions: It's time to make coffee. Put the coffee filter in the pour-over coffee maker and set it on top of your vessel. To get rid of the paper taste, rinse the filter with hot water. Also, heat up your cup or carafe. Make a small well in the middle of the filter and add the ground coffee. Setting a timer, pour about 60ml of hot water over the coffee grounds slowly, making sure they are covered all over. Give it a minute or two to bloom. Pour the hot water in a slow, circular motion over and over again until the coffee grounds are wet but the filter doesn't overflow. Depending on how you like your coffee, the whole process should take about two to three minutes. When all the water has gone through the coffee grounds, take the pour-over coffee maker away and enjoy your hot coffee.
