Although people generally know that pollution has a detrimental effect on our ocean life, not much is being done to change it locally. The change starts with us; the young generation of students. It is our job to educate others on these dangers and what we all can do to help control this problem. When it comes down to it, without the ocean there is no us. If we keep polluting our beaches and oceans at this rate, all the things that are normal now could be something we only read in textbooks later.
