Anyone remember Tutenstein? It was one of my absolute favorite shows growing up and still is!
Here’s a collection of Tut studies I drew while re watching the series recently!
Bottom three are WIPS I’ll post them when I finish 👀
making my 5 year old self happy
So I was watching Tutenstein (don't know if anyone remembers the show but it was on discovery kids before it became the hub) and tell me if I'm wrong but Dr. Carter said Moms as in plural right!?!? This particular episode is Tut Jr. Season 2 episode 14. From 2004. Just please tell me I didn't hear wrong!
🖋fleeaabag: Zendaya as Cleo Carter, Rami Malek as Tutenstein
I forgot to upload this to Tumblr so here it is. A little AU I put together were Luxor is a human (He doesn't have a design yet) and Cleo and Tut are cats. Cleo is an Oriental Long Hair (Since I hc Luxor to be an Oriental short hair, it would make sense if Cleo was an Oriental Long hair) and Tut is Sphynx aka Bingus.
Also here's an extra doodle of Bingus!Tut stretching.
Cleo Carter in my tutinstine AU
In my AU most of Cleo's backstory stays the same, Her dad went missing/died when she was young and she started to study anthropology, archeology, Egyptology ect to feel closer to him. Throwing herself into her studies was also a way to avoid processing that grief directly. She gets a part time job at the museum while going to college.
She still has a bit of a short temper when it comes to Tut needing so much attention and protection and hand holding while he gets use to the present. Though at the end of the day she knows he means well as is trying his best. She comes and goes from the museum a lot, some days it makes her very happy to continue her fathers work and feel close to him, but other times its really hard because she misses him and needs a break when it gets to be too much. It even hurts a little that she can bring a mummy back to life but can't see her father again. Tut and Walter help her to finally process all of this. She was forced to be a very strong person for so long and now she has friends who are finally helping her learn to slow down and enjoy the present for once.
“Back to life and ready to rule!” :) Nice animated television series from childhood.
