I'm not sure if many EDH players noticed this go by in the cycle of killer dual color uncommons in Oath (including reflector mage, a golgari zombie who recovers 2 creatures to hand, stormchaser mage, and void grafter). Only 1 life? Sure. But, counterpoint: Pontiff of Blight (this also combos with Exquisite Blood but we won't go there). Karlov came out as a new twist on lifegain commanders: instances of lifegain over bulk life gain. Cliffhaven supports that direction dealing chip damage to your opponents through it. This card makes the seemingly friendlier Righteous Cause and such much more deadly to deal with, and it turns Horizon Chimera into Psychosis Crawler.

I have cliffhaven vampire in play with 3-1/1 tokens.if attack with the tokens,play foul-tongue shriek.will the spell trigger cliffhaven 3x because it is 3 tokens=3 lose of life or does the spell only trigger once because it is a single spell?

It’s only a single instance of loss of life and life gain so Cliffhaven Vampire only triggers once.

If I rally the ancestors and return cliffhaven vampire, kalastria healer and an expedition envoy, will kalastria healer trigger thrice for one damage and one life gain each, triggering cliffhaven vampire thrice or just once for three life gain and three damage, triggering cliffhaven vampire once? - Thanks

When all three enter the battlefield, Kalastria Healer will trigger three times. When the first trigger resolves, Cliffhaven Vampire will trigger and then resolve.Each Kalastria Healer trigger that resolves will trigger Cliffhaven Vampire again.At the end of the whole process, you’ll have gained 3 life and each opponent will have lost 6 life.
