Part of being an incel is active hatred of women due to feelings of bitter entitlement. Clint's an awkward dolt who can't speak to his crush to save his life (like a lot of people, don't tell me none of you haven't ever done weird stuff around your crushes, we all have), but he doesn't resent her and he certainly doesn't whine about any of the other women in town. He's not an incel. He's just a doof with social anxiety. Therapy would be helpful in that regard.

According to that one pixel height chart of character sprites, Clint is one of the tallest characters in the game, easily over 6 feet tall. And since he's also pretty fat (Yes, FAT. I dare anyone to look at his beached-whale-ass Ginger Island sprites and tell me that man has a six pack) he's just a really big guy over all. Dude's built like a refrigerator.

Unfortunately, this is exactly my type.

At least when I'm climbing him like a jungle gym, he'll be too preoccupied to bother Emily, let alone any woman, anymore.

This is def reading too far into things, but I think Clint's whole outlook would be healthier if he had friends outside of whatever he's got going on with Emily. People need connection and he hardly has any.

For one, I suggest Demetrius. Their professions overlap a little, and I feel like they could discuss the mines, ores, gems, geodes and other geographic oddities at length.

Another one could be Shane. They're both loners and both connected to Emily. I could imagine her coaxing them to hang out, they end up commiserating and hit it off. Maybe on the way home from Joja, Shane picks up Clint from the shop sometimes and they go chill at the saloon together.

I feel the exact opposite of most people about the new marriage candidate reveals. Like Sandy? She seems alright, I guess. Never really interacted with her all that much. Could be interesting.

But CLINT? My blacksmith teddy bear? YEAH BABY THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! He's been done so dirty, neglected by the game, slandered and clowned upon by the fanbase, erased or bastardized by mods. But now, at long last, that fat boy is MINE. The Clint haters can suck a duck because I have WON. Clint can crack me open like a geode. Soon as I step foot in the valley, he won't even remember Emily's name.

Love or Hate Clint, you have to admit it's truly hilarious that he added Clint as romanceable just to piss you guys off. That's iconic behavior sorry.
