I want to apologize for not posting/drawing lately, for the millionth time. I’m so sorry. I keep battling thoughts of quitting art entirely because I’ve taken too long of a break, if I can even call it a break. I feel like I’m constantly disappointing everyone and Im so sorry you are all following me and I have nothing to show for it. I really feel like I don’t deserve attention and I’m not good anymore, but I’m trying not to think that way too. I don’t know. I’m so sorry, I think I’m just making excuses atp.

Im more active on instagram if you want to follow me there instead, but it’s really not that much either. I feel so embarrassed for asking so much of everyone, asking people to buy from my mediocre shop and follow me and everything. I know that’s everyone’s choice whether they do those things or not, but I feel like I’m being a huge burden on you all.

It’s so embarrassing to even type this out or put this on a public platform lol. I shouldn’t but I feel like there’s nothing left for me to do but scream into the void.

I’ll be okay, I think I’m just having a rough week. Even though it’s only Monday lol. I have to finish a big project tomorrow and I’m freaking out over it, so I think that sent me into a spiral for the night. I wish I could just grow up lol

But anyways. I still owe you all an apology and I’m so very sorry I haven’t been drawing and making more things for you to enjoy. And I promise so much and never deliver and I apologize for that too. I hope I can get to creating again because I miss it a lot, I miss getting interactions on my posts and seeing fun tags in the notes and seeing things about my art I wouldn’t think of.

I really do appreciate you all for being here, I want to keep making things. I just need to get over this hurdle

I haven’t done one of these in years tbh but @velvetwyrms tagged me and I was like why not, sounds fun hehe!! 🩷 unfortunately I’m very boring lol but I’ll yap anyway..

Currently Reading: A Botanical Daughter, doing a mini book club situation with @velvetwyrms actually hehe! We just started the story and I’m really loving it so far, I love a book with strong characters right off of the bat.

Reading is oddly tough for me— I love doing it and I’ve always been a huge reader since I was a kid,,, but I swear I get so distracted easily and it takes me a whole year to finish a book. And then I’m a speed reader, so I can easily finish a book in like, two days, if I’m focused enough, so it’s like Clio get your shit together 😭 ig I always get inspired and I want to make my own story/artwork and next thing I know, it’s like a month later and I haven’t touched the book pfff

ANYWAYS. The book club lol. It’s been super helpful having someone to read with, I can actually focus and keep myself accountable for once! I think I’m gonna read some more chapters between cleaning my filthy filthy room today 💀

Oh! I’m also getting into The Locked Tomb trilogy, finally. I’m still on the first book unfortunately (see above), but I really want to get back into it. I’m seeing so much fanart on Instagram and I got mad fomo rn lol

Last Film: … I cannot remember for the life of me. Maybe Hellboy? It’s been a minute since I’ve sat down and watched a movie, which is so unlike me. I’m a movies over tv kinda person… I think I’ll watch Pacific Rim today hehe

Last TV Show: Fallout 02x08! I wasn’t sure about this season going into it (as a big fan of New Vegas), but I think it ended nicely! Stephanie quickly became a favorite character of mine at the end of the season, I’m so intrigued to see where she goes next. I think Max is my favorite character from both seasons though, I loved learning more about his backstory. I’m looking forward to season 3, not super super hyped but it’s something to look forward to anyway! I wish seasons were longer these days, but I’m preaching to the choir I think.

(Also fallout show got too local LOL— part of Shady Sands was filmed at freaking Scary Dairy?? HELLO that’s so cool!)

Sweet or Salty: uhhhhhh….. Maybe salty? I don’t really like super salty things, but I definitely don’t like too many sweets. I’ll just say I like savory things over sweet things lol.

Coffee or Tea: I think I prefer the taste of tea (peppermint, green tea, and English breakfast are my top picks), but I drink coffee wayyy more often (caffeine addiction maybe? 💀). I’m very particular with coffee though, I don’t like sweet stuff and I’ll just add a bit of non-dairy milk (oat milk is my favorite!)

Working On: I have too many things planned/floating around in my head 💀 let’s see…

Big thing I’m doing today is Session 0 of a new dnd campaign I’m joining (with a few of my coworkers lol)! I’m playing a half-elf warlock, so I’m prepping a lot and trying not to get super intimidated. I don’t feel too nervous because a lot of other people in it are newbies too (I’m playing in another campaign as a tiefling bard, so I’m not suuuuper inexperienced atp but I’m still fresh). So yeah, hopefully that goes well 🤪

I’m…. kind of writing a secret Nygmobblepot fan fiction… I’m really shy about my writing and I don’t think I’m good enough to upload on AO3 or anything (my brain is like no Clio, that’s for elite, supergood writers and you are not that).. but maybe I’ll share it someday. It’s very self-indulgent, mushy fluff, and probably super ooc— very medieval y2k fantasy/fairy tale, like Shrek and Ella Enchanted lol… because it’s me. someday.. 🧍

As for drawing, I’m still in a bad art block ugh,, I want to make more merch (as I’m prepping for an in-person market next week), but I’m just so unmotivated. Work has been kicking my butt. You know it’s bad when I’m not even doodling riddlebird.

Last Song: Spring Breakers by Charli xcx,,,,,, I swear I listen to this every day on my way to work, her music wakes me up just enough for my commute lol. Also I don’t know how to edit but I would totally make an Oswald Cobblepot edit to this song. But that requires watching clips of the show I can’t watch anymore so there’s that 💀 I get super insecure about the music I listen to (I’m too basic) so be grateful I’m sharing this with y’all /lh

ughhhh long post/rant I’m sorry in advance—

so I planned on restocking these pins for my Etsy but they’re not the same quality as before, I’m so sorry everyone :(

Vograce doesn’t carry these acrylic/epoxy pins anymore (as far as I know? I couldn’t reorder them or even place an order), so I had to order from another manufacturer. they’re still a decent print but the epoxy pins are definitely not epoxy lol.

I also feel like the other two designs have a bit of a fuzzy print but I’m gonna try not to stress too much over it :/ they’re good enough quality I think

anyways! just a heads up. I’m going to lower the prices on these particular pins and hopefully I’ll have better quality versions in the future. I feel so silly for not doing more research but there’s nothing I can do about it now
